"Oh, come on Y/N! We all know that Star Trek is way better than Star Wars!"

You stared at your best friend in disapproval, shaking your head at his ignorance.

"Nah uh, I don't believe that. Star Wars is so much cooler! And besides, have you seen Harrison Ford in those movies? Damn fine!"

Harrison rolled his eyes at you. "I am disappointed, Y/N. You have failed me."

You shrugged your shoulders and threw a piece of popcorn at his face. " What can I say, I'm a sucker for Han Solo."
Throwing the fluffy blanket off your legs, you pushed yourself unsteadily off the couch, reaching your arms above your head to stretch out your stiff muscles.

"Now," you mumbled, turning to look around Harrison's living room. "Where is my phone ..."

In answer, Harrison reached under one of the many pillows that dominated the sofa and picked up the small electronic device. You made a face as he handed it to you.
"Thanks." Taking it, you pressed the power button and squinted down at the old cracked screen, courtesy of being dropped so many times. Your eyes widened as you saw the time.
"Oh gosh, I'm late for dinner with my sister."
You looked up to find Harrison already holding up your jumper, and smirk on his face. You smiled gratefully as you took it, leaning down to press and kiss to his cheek, not noticing how he flushed a bright red.
"Thanks for tonight, it was fun."

He nodded his head, turning away as you began to walk towards the door. You were just about to turn the handle when Harrison spoke up.

"You remember that Tom is coming over tomorrow night, right?"

You rolled your eyes. "Ah yes, the infamous Tom Holland. So I finally get to met him, do I?"

For years you had been hearing about Harrison's other best friend, Thomas Holland. When he had first met the other boy, back when the two of you were still in kindergarten, you had grown horribly jealous over how he seemed to enjoy Tom's company more than he did yours. Over the years, you had grown to realise that your jealousy was irrational and were able to push most of it away. However enough remained that you had held out from meeting Tom until the last possible second - in which Harrison was practically forcing you two together.

Harrison chuckled, shaking his head at you. "Yes, Y/N. And don't think that you can text me five minutes before you're supposed to arrive, saying that something came up, because I know for a fact that you have no other social life apart from myself and therefore have no where else to be."

You stuck your tongue out at him, pulling open the door to his apartment. "I suppose I'll have to give you that. But don't be surprised if I spontaneously contract enumonia tomorrow morning."

He snorted. "I doubt your excuse will be as tame as that but ... " his voice turned serious, "please just ... be here. At least try to get along with him. Believe me, he's not too happy about meeting you either ... just please, for one day?"

You watched him thoughtfully for a second, taking in his set jaw and his pleading blue eyes. Then you let out a long sigh.
"One day."

Harrison grinned widely at you, watching as you disappeared out the door. "Thank you!" he yelled after your retreating form. You waved a hand over your shoulder as you left, hearing the door click back into place behind you.
"But that doesn't mean I have to like it."

The next day arrived far quicker than you would have liked. Although the ides of texting Harrison and making some kind of stupid excuse as to why you couldn't get to his house later was becoming more and more tempting, you knew there was, realistically, no way for you to get out of your agreement. Harrison would see through any lie you made up and although he acting like it didn't bother him that you disliked his other best friend, you had known him long enough to see that it did. Which was why you had decided to ignore your own feelings and focus on trying to tolerate this person for a night, just to keep your best friend happy.
