I waited in the receptions waiting room for my best friend who was in the principal's office. Awhile later, she walked out with a small pout as I stood, "What happened?"

"I have detention for hitting that stupid Elie chick," she groaned. As if on cue, Elie walked out of the nurses office, cheeks red, eyes swollen and an ice pack on her cheek as she glared over at Mia who just rolled her eyes as we walked out into the hallway of the school.

"Hey," Drew walked over to us, "what are we gonna do after school?"

"We can go out to eat or something," I suggested. "No, we can't. I have detention, remember?" Mia sighed and I nodded in realisation.

"Right, plus, I have a math test to study for," I sigh. Drew and Mia's eyes widen after I said that and my eyebrows crease, "What?"

They ignore my question and start whispering among themselves before dispersing, "I gotta go. See y'all tomorrow," Mia waved before walking down the hall.

"Let's go," Drew and I walked outside the school and into his car. He parked the car in my driveway before turning to me, "Go dress in something sporty."

I pulled on my basketball shorts before tying my sneakers and heading back outside and into the passenger seat of Drew's car, "Where are we going?"

"The park."

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"Now kick it at a 40 degree angle!" Dress yelled from over by the net and I swerved the ball, missing the net.

"Drew this isn't going to work," I sigh aggrivated. "It will. Try again," he placed the ball back on the ground as I backed away, getting ready to kick. I looked at my surroundings and saw how empty the park was, only some guy seated on the bench which was pretty much giving me a weird feeling as I thought he may have been the guy that's been sending me those weird messages.

I ran for the ball and kicked it as hard as I could, missing the net and going towards the bushes a few feet behind the net. "I'll get it," Drew ran off into the distance to retrieve the ball and the guy started walking up to me, making me feel uneasy as I slowly walked away from him, trying to not make it as obvious.

"Don't worry, it's just me," the voice chuckled and I turned to face Jace who was removing his hoodie from his face.

Oh. My. Poptarts he's so FINE!

I sighed nervously, not sure on how to respond as I fiddled with my fingers. "You trying to get a 90 degree angle?" I looked up at the miracle God placed on Earth for all of us to admire and nodded nervously.

"Ye-yeah. Trying to practice for the math test on Wedn- Wednes- Wednesday," I mentally slapped myself for stuttering in front of him and he smirked before Drew returned with the ball.

"What are you doing here?" Drew asked in a serious tone as he walked towards us, basically getting in between Jace and I as they both stared each other down and I back up. It was quite weird for a small, 5'2, girl like me looking at two 6'4 guys staring each other down so the best thing was probably for me to back away.

"I believe this is a public park," Jace said in a more bored tone causing Drew to roll his eyes.

"You just stay away from her."

"And if I don't," Jace challenged, placing his hands in his pockets with no sign of fear but more of the type of confidence a lion has over a mouse.

Drew huffed before walking away towards the net, placing the ball down and standing by it, waiting for me.

I looked back at Jace who just had a slight smirk, "Next time, run at a 50 degree angle and curve your foot at a 40 to make it 90," he shrugged blankly before smirking and walking off, but not before whispering, "And nice shorts." He walked away, hands in pockets, confidence radiating off him and whistling to a song I couldn't make out, his axe and vanilla scent trailing behind as I fiddled with my shorts, grinning.

"Are you coming or not?" Drew asked annoyed and I turned and did as Jace said, measuring the angle and kicking the ball straight into the net, "You did it!" Drew cheered and so did I.

Drew parked by the sidewalk and I unbuckled my belt, "What happened between you and Jace?"

"Huh?"

"The two of you seemed like you didn't like the company of the other," I shrugged.

His body tensed a bit at my question before he huffed and kissed my forehead, "See you in the morning, Kayla." I hopped out the car and into the house, straight into the shower. I zipped up my Zebra onesie before walking downstairs, tying my hair into a ponytail.

"Hey Zayn," I waved and he instantly sat up to look at me. "Have you asked her yet?" He asked.

I sighed, "No, haven't seen her this today," I walked into the kitchen to find Jordan making a sandwich. I think all four of us kids all got a little of the cooking trait from our parents. Before my dad became a lawyer, he was a chef at some restaurant in Luma, downtown. But that was before Jordan and I were born and he had two more kids to pay for so he became a lawyer. Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing because his new job does pay more since he's a lawyer for top celebrities.

I hopped up on to the island as Jordan smeared his special J Sauce, as I call it, on the nice, toasted bread. "Making your Jolette?" I ask with a smile.

"Your the only one that calls it that," he says boredly as he puts the ham on both two slices, making two sandwiches.

"Two? You never make two. Whose coming," I plopped off the island and pulled out the box of leftover pizza, plopping two slices on a plate and warming them in the microwave.

"I'm just having a friend over," he shrugged and I took my plate with me to the living room. I heard a knock at the door and quickly ran towards it, beating Jordan as he stood behind me. I opened the door and a girl, about my height, stood smiling in an all white tee reaching past her knees. Her green eyes and brown hair made her spark even more.

"Hey, I'm Laila," she smiled and so did I.

"I'm -"

"Not important," Jordan pushed me to the side and I shot him daggers, "Come in," he directed Laila to I'm guessing the movie room but not before glaring at me. I huffed in anger and returned to my Criminal Minds marathon, eating my cheese pizza.

A little while later, Jordan walked out of the movie room and into the kitchen and I took my chance to dash in the movie room and plop on one of the couches next to Laila.

"I'm Mikayla," I smiled, huffing a bit at how fast I ran.

"It's so nice to meet you," she smiled as she drank some of her water.

"So, what do you see in Jordan?" I question.

"What do you mean by that?" She asks with creased eyebrows.

"Well you see-"

"You know what we don't see? You," Jordan pulled me off of the couch and was about to carry me out but I quickly dashed into the corner.

"Jordan can fart the ABCs," I smile.

"Kayla," he warned and I sighed. I walked towards the door but not before whispering in Laila's ear,

"In his sleep," I ran out the movie room and up to my room, plopping on my bed in laughter until I heard my phone beep. I opened the message.

Unknown caller ID:
>> When are you just going to admit it?

My heart sped up but anger overcame it as I texted back.

Me:
<< Admit what?

Unknown caller ID:
>> You'll see ;-)

I decided on just blocking the number as it was or he or she, I don't know, was starting to get to my head. Getting comfortable in my bed, I drifted off to sleep, the unknown person still on my mind.

Who are they?
