I didn't have anything else serious to happen in this book so I was like, why not?
LAST CHAPTER, EVERYBODY!!
Opening the door, I walked out of the bathroom before walking over into my room.
Mia's eyes widened and she stood, picking up her long dress. "Mikayla, you look so pretty!"
I laugh. "Thanks. Now let's get going to this prom, show we?"
She nods and we both grab our purses and walked down stairs. Drew and Jace were both stood at the end of the staircase in their tuxes talking. While Gena, Kyle, Connor, Finn and Kehlani were a short distance away.
The sound of our heels clicking got their attention and all heads turn towards us.
My eyes lock with Jace's and I instantly smile, his eyes glistening with tears.
"Baby," I laugh, cuffing his face with my hands.
Jace smiles down at me. "You look so beautiful, my love."
I smile back. "You look just as amazing." He was just in a black tux, white button up and maroon bow tie.
He wiped his tears and kissed me, multiple times.
It caused me to laugh. "My lipgloss."
"I don't care," he said between kisses.
"Can we go or should we give Durex a call?" Kyle asked.
We all went out and took multiple pictures, my parents and sister hugged me and we were all packed into this limo that Mia rented out.
"Where's Jordan?" Gena asked.
"Oh, he went to prom with his friend Dae I believe," I shrug and she nodded.
I look over at Connor who was tapping his foot on the floor of the limo, looking down at his off phone impatiently. "Connor?" He looked up at me. "Mere? Where is she?"
He sighed. "She said she'd meet us there," Connor shrugged and I nod.
I pulled out my phone to take a picture with Jace, only for him to shift in a way to cover my cleavage.
The door was opened for us by the driver and we all climbed out of the limo. Jace slid the corsage on my arm and I smile up at him, only for the smile to disappear as he tried tugging on my dress to cover up.
"This is public nudity," he jokingly said.
"Oh shut up," I push him away. We locked arms and walked into the school before walking into the beautifully decorated gym.
"They have couches and everything," I laugh, waving at a few people who were waving at me.
"Crazy," Jace laughs and we sat at a nearby table. "Funny how I never thought I'd ever go to prom or any school dance for that matter."
"And now you have me to change that," I smile proudly and he laughed.
Kehlani and Finn walked over, both holding two glasses with a well know light brown liquid inside.
"Hey," Kehlani smiles and hands me a glass, Finn handing one to Jace.
"No no," Jace said, grabbing my glass, "she is not drinking tonight."
"Yeah. We all know what happened on my birthday," I laugh.
"Come on, you guys," Finn whined. "I mean, we graduate next week. Take one for the team."
I stared at Jace with a hopeful smirk. "You actually want to drink?" Jace chuckled.
I shrug, grabbing my glass. "Why not? It is our first and last prom."
