I accidentally said basketball game instead of soccer tournament in an earlier chapter so please note that it's a soccer tournament.
Good news. I got my brace taken off.
Bad news. According to the MK Airport, I will be in Japan for the next five days...
Groaning, I slowly sit up and make my way to my closet and pull out my good friend, Pad. She only comes around for less than a week every month since I was thirteen but I still haven't gotten used to her.
I kept my outfit on the low today. Black yoga pants, a red t-shirt and black jacket as well as red Converse. My hair was put up in a ponytail before I made my way down the stairs.
The only thing I enjoy the most on days like these is nice, warm porridge. It's that little Gerber porridge for baby's but I feel like porridge has no age limit. Mia walked into my kitchen just as I was finishing up, "Hey."
"Hi," I groan as I place my bowl in the sink. My water bottle was filled and I put some pills into my bag as well before we got in her car.
"It's Tom, isn't it?" Mia asks just as we park in the schools parking lot. She doesn't have cramps as bad as mine and my attitude and behavior does definitely change whenever I visit the country. A nod is all she gets and we walk into the school.
Today's Friday, the day of the soccer tournament. We usually don't learn whenever there's a competition within the school because the teachers will not appreciate the idea of teaching one class than teaching the soccer students all over again.
So usually Mia and I just lounge around the school or watch the team practice but the last thing I want to do is be out in the cold. I sat down at the lunch table, groaning as I put my head down in my arms on the table.
Someone sat beside me and Pat's me on the back, causing me to sit up and I see Phoenix. He had a heating pad in his hand under the table and I great fully take it and put it under my shirt, sighing as my pain eases.
Phoenix and Drew are only ten months apart, Drew being older. I consider him to be like my third brother beside Drew and Jordan.
I've disowned Zayn.
"Thanks," I say as I lean into his touch. Phoenix only chuckles at my behavior, rapping his arms around me and I sigh into his apple and Axe scent.
"No problem. Got the alert this morning," he smiles down at me and I chuckled.
"You still have that?"
When T.O.M first started visiting, I was actually at Drew's house. We were all playing on the trampoline when I suddenly had to pee. The moment I wiped, there was a slight pinkish reddish color and I didn't know much about it back then so the first thing I did was go to Mrs. Stevens.
Phoenix over heard our convo and told Drew which is how they now both have the apps on their phones. I remember on probably my third month and third time, my attitude went from 0 to 100 real quick and Drew kept annoying me so I almost took away his only chances of having kids.
He only shrugs, smile never leaving his face, "Why would I delete it?" His smile shows off his blue braces which I love more than my own.
Phoenix resembles Drew alot though with brown curly hair and green eyes. If I ever said that I only like Jace, that was a complete lie.
I've known Phoenix shorter than I've known Drew and I will say that I've had a growing infatuation for him over the years. "So, how was Canada?" I ask.
Phoenix and the rest of the football team have been in Canada for the past month, training for the Nationals in the next few months.
"It was alot. Definitely tiring though. But I missed you," he whispers and I smile, tightening my arms around his waist.
