"You guys are disturbing him. Stop yelling so much," I whisper yell to my parents. Jace had fallen asleep basically on my left arm and no matter how much it hurt and my arm had fallen asleep, I still didn't want him to be anywhere else.

"You act like he's the one that was involved in an accident," my Mom says back.

"Well, he wasn't but he was the one that saved my life," I say.

Both of their eyes widen. "Really?"

I nod, holding in a smile. "Yes. And he had to get a lot of blood drawn because of my loss of blood. So if you two would please leave, head to the airport and return to your anniversary vacation-"

"No, sweetie," dad spoke up. "We need to be here for you. The Bahamas will always be there."

"How do you know? What if it's just completely covered in water and sinks?" I question, seriously.

They both roll their eyes. Mom comes beside me and pecks my cheek. "We'll be downstairs in the cafe. And when we come back, we want an explanation from the both of you."

I nod and watch as they both leave. My phone vibrates on the beside table and I reach over to retrieve it, wincing at the pain in my side. I read the text.

Connor 🎨: Hey

Connor 🎨: What room are you in?

One eighty five

Connor 🎨: Ight, I'm on my way

I place my phone back down and pick up the remote, turning on the TV and going to Netflix cause I don't really watch a lot of normal television.

Connor walks in with a fruit basket and I laugh. "You shouldn't have gotten chocolate covered ones. Chocolate's disgusting."

He smiles, placing it down on the table. "Well, yeah. I got them for me and Jace."

I roll my eyes and hand him my small little plate from the sandwich I had eaten earlier. He takes it and places some apple slices, grapes and watermelon on it. I place the little table across my legs and place my plate there before eating.

"So...what exactly happened?" He questions, eating a few chocolate covered strawberries.

"Well," I swallow the last of my watermelon slice, "Jace and I had gone for a walk, then we heard someone moving in the bushes so we walked towards it. The person started running so we followed them, Jace tackled him, Mr. Walker shot me before shooting himself. And now we're here," I shrug.

"Woah, you're strong," he chuckles and I smile. "But I knew it. From the very beginning I just knew it had to be Walker. Ever since he cut my arm then showed up as a sub? I knew for a fact it was him."

"I know you did. It's just that you didn't have enough proof to make me believe you fully. Now, as far as this other caller goes...we need to find out who they are."

"No, we don't." We both turn our heads to Jace who's eyes were just barely even open. "We can't find out who she is. Not now, at least. You need your rest."

"She?" Connor and I both ask in unison.

"Yeah. Walker said that we would never find her. That means she's a she," he shrugs and reached for my grapes.

"This is alot," I sigh as I lean further into my pillow. "Now we're looking for a girl? I know way too many girls."

"Look, I know how important this is for you to find out who this chick is. It is for all of us," Connor says. "But as of now, I just think that we should ignore this girl."
