•Twenty Five•

Okay so I noticed how I keep switching scents between Phoenix and Jace so let me make this clear: Phoenix smells like cinnamon and honey while Jace smells like apples and mint. Like I said before, I've changed Jace's character quite a few times so his eye color keeps changing throughout the book but his eyes are brown while Phoenix's are hazel.

The picture above is of Mikaylas outfit that she wore to the party. Keep in mind that that is her true shape.

I hop into Phoenix's car and buckle my belt. The whole day went great and I've noticed how Finn shares the exact same classes as Jace and I so we'll all definitely be seeing the others alot more. "Hey hey hey."

"Hello love," he smiles as he leaves the school parking lot. My heart fluttering at the nickname. "How was your day? I heard there's a new kid in school."

"Great and yeah there is actually. He's from Nadu and apparently he's great friends with Jace." Phoenix slightly tensed at the mention of Jace's name by quickly recovered. "He seems pretty cool though. How was your day?"

He shrugs. "Alright. Other than the fact that we're gonna be training for the game the whole of March break."

I turn to him as he parks in my driveway and peck his lips before releasing. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Getting out of the car, I remember something and turn back to him. "Are you coming for the party on Friday?"

"I might."

I walk upstairs to Chemistry, already tired. Monday night, it was my turn to make dinner and everyone wanted lasagna which I hate doing but I made it non the less.

Tuesday, Jace and Finn were bugging me all of third, fourth and fifth period as I was trying to get some shut eye because I spent the whole night talking to Phoenix.

On Wednesday, we had that little Multi Gram Pacer Test which no one was happy about. That carried on until yesterday.

Now the last people I want to see are Finn and Jace considering the fact that they kept making me walk all over the school trying to get away from them.

Yeah, they took the test too but Jace had experience with physical activity and Finn used to be in track growing up so push ups and all didn't really phase the two of them.

I sigh as I reach the last step. A scent of really strong axe engulfs me as they wrap their arms around my waist from the back and I groan. "Finn."

"Hey princess." I could feel his cheeks rise up into a smile against my ear before the both of us make our way into the Chem lab. Finn sat down and I realize that I'm his lab partner.

He simply smiles over at me, his eyes becoming thin lines through his circular glasses as he caresses the seat beside him. I roll my eyes and sit beside him. Finn walks up to the front of the class once he sees that almost everyone is here and closes the door. "So, Mr. Evans said he won't be coming so he asked that I supervise the class today." He smiles as he leans against the teachers desk.

Kenzie raises her hand. "Not that I'm complaining but why did he choose you?"

"Yeah, you just got here." Jonas adds causing the class to start saying things under their breath.

"Because I have the best grades in Chem." Finn says as he began to hand out papers. "This project is due on Monday so you all better get to work."

He walks over to our table and settles in his seat. "Well the-"

"No Mikayla I will not be doing this work alone just for you to do the experiment." Finn gave me a look and I sigh.

"Leave me alone," I groan as I walk back down the stairs. I just spent the last fourty five minutes with Finn telling me that literally everything I was doing was wrong. I can't stand seeing those glasses again unless he wants me to snap them in half.
