"Okay, so what are we gonna do?" I ask once I find Jace and Connor talking by the lockers.
"We go with the flow. Act normal. We can't tell anyone about anything that's going on and we act like nothing is." Connor says as we both walk towards Math class.
"Good morning guys. How are you? I'm great. Did you have a fun weekend?" Jace says to himself, catching up with us as we walk in and sit down.
"Where's Finn?" I ask Jace.
"He's going to Tokyo in an hour for a shoot."
I nod and pull out my phone, quickly texting Finn to wish him a safe trip.
The girl in front of me, Kacey turns around with a smile. "Hey Mikayla."
"Hey." I smile back.
"Are you coming to my party on Friday?"
I shake my head. "I don't really like parties. Sorry." Though even if I did, I still wouldn't come because there's a crazy maniac out to get me.
She frowns before turning back to face the front. A man walks in; caramel tone, dark brown hair that is gelled back and slight stubble on the lower half of his face. He looked pretty attractive from my view, probably about 6 foot wearing a white long sleeved button up, jeans and dress shoes. "Good morning class." His deep voice booms throughout the room and everyone grows quiet. "I'm Mr. Walker and I'll be your substitute for the rest of the semester. Your former teacher, Mrs. Belle gave birth on Saturday so she's on maternity leave which is going into the summer so, I'm taking over."
A girl raises her hand and he points at her. "Mr. Walker, how old are you?"
"Why does it matter?" He tilts his head.
"Because you're super cute." The girl giggles to herself.
"She wants some of the D!" Kyle, the class clown yells. The whole class bursts out in laughter.
"Excuse me, what is your name?" Mr. Walker asks him.
"Kenya." The class laughs again.
"Kenya who?"
"Kenya Pithecus." Kyle smiles widely. Cue the laughter.
Mr. Walker grabs the class register and skims through it. "There are no Kenya's in this class. But judging from all the F's, I'm gonna take it that you're Kyle." He leans against his desk.
"That's me." Kyle winks. He plays with his curls. "But don't get ahead of yourself, baby. I'm straight." The class erupts in laughter once more.
"Please step out into the hallway for me." Mr. Walker says and the class oohs. Kyle stands from his desk and starts packing his things. "I'm not sending you home, Kyle."
"Yeah, well I'm going home. See y'all asses." He waves and everyone else says bye. Kyle exits the room.
"Five minutes." Mr. Walker says. His eyes meet mine and he winks, making me feel very uncomfortable and confused but then again...Daddy fiiiiinnnneeee!
Once he's out the room, I turn to Connor on my left. He was sketching something in his notebook which I could easily make out to be Mr. Walker. "What are you doing?"
His eyebrows furrow in disbelief as he continues to sketch with his pencil. He sighs, placing his pencil down before turning to me. "Something just seems so off about this guy."

"Can you please come?" Mia begs."Mia, I've already said no." I'm not really planning on dying on a Friday, so...
