My eyes widen as the voice echos through my head. I can't believe he managed to get my number. My NEW number. How? Why? What if someone gave it to him or something? Okay, my heart is really beating fast at this moment.

"Hello? Anyone there?"

I heard his voice and words but couldn't process the fact that HE had my number. My FREAKING PHONE NUMBER.

"Jace?" I say in disbelief, still shocked at the fact that he had my number. Pushing my pillows out of the way I sat up and rested my back on my head board. I cleared my throat, "How, how did you get my number?"

Jace chuckled and I did my best not to fawn over his victorious laugh. Hey, he might be a total poop face but he's still fine. It basically over shadows it. "Mia gave it to me. Earlier this morning, actually. I tried to call you during the day but it wasn't going through so I asked Mia if you were aright and all and she gave me your new number," Jace says, his voice and words warming my heart.

Jace Morgan cares about me. The Jace Morgan. Cue total fangirl moment.

"Oh, yeah yeah," I face palm myself, "I went out earlier and got a new phone because my other one was um, it was broken, yeah," I lie, sounding more as if I was guessing instead of telling him.

"Well that makes sense," Jace says and I smile. We spent the rest of the night talking, hours of jokes and silly comments being made here and there. I actually felt like this was the first time we had an actual conversation instead of bickering or talking about math or something.

Our convo went on for hours, at first we were just talking about school but then it got personal. He actually asked a lot of questions about Jordan and the rest of my family too, but mainly Jordan because he said he was slowly beginning to develop interest in basketball which is basically Jordans favorite sport.

It's crazy how I barely even see my twin at school because we literally share NO classes. Also, my twin is like supergeniusalberteinsteincrazyhellasmart -its a word- so he takes higher level educational classes with Laila.

I'm smart too, but the h-level classes were optional and I decided to stay with my friends on the l train.

Eventually, the suns bright rays slowly began to peak through my black curtains - I got them when we went to get me a new phone because my dad said it would at least give me more privacy, we tested them out and everything, by tested I mean Zayn stood at my balcony and said if he could see anything and also tried to use a flashlight to try and peak through but I got the darkest shade of black, if that's even possible - and I realize that we've been talking for a really long time.

"Um, I gotta go. You know, get ready for school," we both laughed at my comment before there's a short silence. "Well, it sure was nice talking to you munchkin," Jace says and I can tell he's smiling on the other end just from his tone. "Nice talking to you too," I smile before finally hanging up.

Well, at least I know that my new phone can withstand long calls, haha.

I stare at the wall straight in front of me, it's a wall of all my pictures. A few years back, I got a Polaroid camera for Christmas. The film was pretty expensive and my parents nor me really had money to waste so I would usually refill it once a year, meaning that all the pictures on my wall were from years ago.

Smiling, I get up off of my bed, grab a towel and decided to take a shower. Seeing as how brightly the sun was shining and also that my phone told me it would be pretty warm today, I decide on ripped Capri jean shorts that stop right before my knees, a little plain red shirt and my red vans. My hair was simply finger combed because I've been playing with my hair alot recently and I didn't want to irritate my scalp, and so I just decided on leaving it down, parting it in the middle.
