One month later...
"I'm leaving tomorrow!" I yell happily, combing my hair.
Jace laughs, putting aside his phone. "What do you want to do when you get out?"
"Well first, I want to get my nails done because I haven't gotten them done in forever and they look horrid. Then, I want to go to my house and cuddle with you properly because this bed is hella small." He laughs at that. "Then, I just wanna spend the night with you. Watching highschool musical, eating junk food. Things like that."
"And wear my hoodie?" He smirks
I smile. "Of course. That's basically number one."
"And what are you gonna do for me?" Connor asks and I turn my attention to him.
"Nothing. You didn't do shit for me."
"I got you sandwiches!" He protests.
"Then I'll get you a sandwich," I shrug.
"Wow. To think I spent a month at your back and call," he shakes his head, looking down at his phone.
"You came three times a week. Jace is the one that was here the whole time," I tie up my hair.
"Whatever, bruh."
"No, bruh," I mimick. "You're mad about something. Who hurt you?"
"Ain't nobody hurt me. Bitches ain't shit."
"I'mma find you a girl."
"Who? Mere?" He asks, almost like it's hysterical.
I shake my head. "No, fool."
"Then who?"
I smile. "Don't worry."
"She's gonna make you end up with the spawn of Satan," Jace jokes and I laugh at that.
"You still gonna thank me in the end, though," I shrug, looking back over at Connor. He was staring at me. "Hello? Earth to Connor?" I ask.
He shook his head as he snaps back to reality. "Yeah. Cool. Whatever."
I decide not to question it anymore and just go back to looking through my pictures. Last night, I was just out of it the whole day. I basically just slept and slept and slept like I was hibernating or something.
So-having two idiots as my best friends-Jace and Connor both took a billion and one pictures in my phone as if I have the space for their monkey faces. So now, I'm tryna get them printed so that I can make a full collage on my collage wall in my room since I already have a billion with my family as well as with Drew and Mia. But before I can print them, I have to pick out which ones I want to keep and which ones I don't which is what I'm doing now.
"Hey," I turn to Jace, "we never watched that Christopher Robbin movie you wanted to see whenever I went to my grandparents house."
"Oh yeah," he remembers. "I'll have to buy a DVD or download it or something cause I'm sure it's out of the movie theater by now."
I nod and soon get tired of looking at their pictures and soon just start scrolling through Pinterest because it's a hobby. A notification for a FaceTime request from Mia pops up and I answer it. "Hello, hello," I smile.
"Hey. What shade are you?" She questions seriously and I can tell she's in a makeup store.
"Meaning?" I question.
"Like, foundation and concealer and stuff?" She says.
I shrug. "I don't know. I don't even know the difference between the two."
