"Hello!" I could hear Drew yell from the front door.

"I'm in my room!"

After awhile, Drew entered my room. "Yo. Where's my food?"

I smile, "Well, there's this thing called a fridge."

His eyes roll to the back of his head as he exits the room, mumbling different insults which I just rolled my eyes to. I decided to pull out my laptop and go through my old videos. The last video was from five months ago. I clicked on it and watched.

It turned out to be one of my cover videos which I haven't made in awhile. I was singing to the song One Call Away by Charlie Puth, playing the rhythm on my keyboard. I haven't made a video in a really long time because I've just had so much going on.

I mean, I do still sing in the car and shower but I haven't made a video in awhile, neither have I ever uploaded any of them. My videos are basically backed up in a secret folder on my laptop which has a really strong password which no one but Jordan knows. It's my way of keeping my stuff private though I might upload it when I get over my stage fright.

My voice in the video was definitely stronger than how it is now. That was back when I took online classes for improving my voice and sang every single day. I do still know that I'm blessed to have my voice, I'm just still learning to use it.

Drew walks back in the room with a bowl of Noodles before plopping himself beside me. "Watching your old videos again?"

Nodding, I turn to him, "Yeah. Never get tired of em." I turn off my laptop and put it back in my drawer.

"So, you and Jace huh?"

"We are nothing," I groan, "and I'm gonna kill Jordan for making it seem that way. He's just my math tutor. In two weeks, he won't even know my name." I chuckled, "It wasn't even until today that he found my name in the first place."

Drew and I hung out for awhile before he eventually left and I went to bed.

I slid on my dress and some white furry slides. My hair was straightened out and I decided on a simple choker and studs.

I did my usual morning routine before heading to the porch and awaiting for Mia's arrival. As I'm sitting on the chair, I began to examine my ankle.

I have a doctor's appointment today because he recommends that I go at least once a week to make sure I don't do anything which could break my leg completely off. Suprisingly though, I felt like it has healed. Now I'm not dumb so I'm not gonna put any pressure on it whatsoever until the doctor says so.

My phone beeped and I open it to find a message from Mia.

Mi Mi: hey

Mi Mi: so I'm not coming to school today

Mi Mi: neither is Dee cause he said you were bullying him yesterday

Mi Mi: so

Mi Mi: I sent over some1

Mi Mi: they should be there

Mi Mi: eventually

Me: who

Mi Mi: ull c

I shove my cracked phone in my bag before a familiar car drove into my driveway. Jace opened his window and waved over at me with a smile as I make my way into his car. "Hi," he paused. "Mikayla."
