"Well I don't know what I was supposed to wear. I've never been golfing before," I shrug. Jace, Finn, Mia and Drew were all judging me for wearing workout clothes to go mini golfing.
I turn to Mia on my left, "Plus, this is all on you. You packed my clothes."
"Don't blame this on me, I didn't even know about us going golfing in the first place." Yeah she's one to talk. She's wearing khakis and a white polo shirt and sneakers. In one word, she's prepared.
I roll my eyes and pull out my phone, replying to Phoenix. We were talking about Saturday and where I wanted to go but I simply just said that we could even hang out at his house and watch Netflix and I'd be cool.
Jace snatches my phone from me and I glare up at him, "Give me my phone."
"Have you been listening?" He asks.
I shake my head, "To what?"
"Okay so today's Sunday and we all leave Friday night. So everyday this week I'm gonna make sure we all do something fun," I could see Finn smile through the rearview mirror.
I smile, "And whenever we're not doing something, I'll be teaching Jace to swim."
Jace turns to me with wide eyes, shaking his head furiously. "No you won't."
"Yes I will."
"No you won't."
"Yes I will."
"No you won't."
"Yes I will."
"No you won't."
"Yes I will."
"No you won't."
"Jace?"
"What?"
"I own you. I've already won."
"No you don't. I told you you'll own me whenever you change that disgusting smell of yours."
I smack his arm and gasp, "Jace! I don't smell."
"You do and it ain't good."
I flip him the bird and he smiles, "When?"
"Shut the fuck up."
Mia, Drew and Finn all gasp. "What did you do to our best friend?" Mia asks before covering my ears.
"He broke me," I pout and Jace puts his hands up in surrender.
"She caught on on her own."
We arrive at the golf place not too long later. We separated in teams of five because Finn was too cheap to let us all have our own stations.
My team consisted of Finn, Jace, Mia and Drew and the other team was Jordan, Laila, Kehlani, Kaitlyn and Zayn.
Mia had just gotten a 14 and now it was my turn. I get into the proper-ish position before swinging my club and the ball bearly gets anywhere, earning me a 2.
Jace chuckles, standing up as it was now his turn, "What was that?"
"I told you I've never been golfing before. I don't even wanna play that stupid game anymore," I say as I sit down in my chair. I began to browse through the menu which was on a little table. This is some prestige golfing place with waitors walking around with wine and $100 tuna sandwiches and stuff so the list of foods were pretty pricey.
I settled on a Hawaiian pizza though it didn't show the size and pink lemonade, the waitor took the order and left. She came back about fifteen minutes later and I smile. It was a large pizza but it was very thin so I was sure I'd be able to eat it all.
