After dressing up and doing my hair, I grab my small little black back pack and head downstairs and outside where Jace was parked. I get into Winnie and smile. "Haven't been in here in a month."
He laughs at that. "You did your makeup and everything, bae? I'm that important to you?"
I laugh at that as I turn off my phone after texting my parents that I was out with Jace since they weren't home. "Well, yeah. You didn't see that years worth of makeup on my brand new vanity?" I turn a little to face him.
"I did. But I thought maybe you were just keeping it for your sister or something, I don't know," he shrugs, parking in the parking lot of the mall.
I hop out and walk around to hold his hand. "What are we doing?"
"I've scheduled for you to get your nails done," he smiles down at me as we walk through the automatic doors and towards the escalators.
"Aw, how cute of you," I coo. We get off of the escalators and walk into the nail salon. Jace talks to the lady about reservations and she seems amused as she gives me an impressed look. I nod and mouth the words "I know right?"
I was seated at a table and Jace sat beside me.
"What are you gonna do while I get my nails done?" I question. "I don't want you to get bored or anything. You can go to the arcade or something if you're bored."
"Nah. I rather be right here with you," he says and rests his head on my right shoulder, playing with his phone. I couldn't really see what he was doing cause of his hat.
He had on black ripped jeans, an orange shirt, camo Adidas jacket and a black hat, his hoodie over it. He looked overall pretty warm but I didn't really mind the weather because I love winter.
About two hours later, we leave and I smile as I continuously dangle my fingers in my face. "Jace, you are too sweet."
He smiles as he wrapped his arm over my shoulders. "I try."
"Where are we going now?" I ask as we leave the building.
"Have you already eaten lunch?"
I shake my head. "I had cereal a few hours ago."
He nods and we get into his car. We soon arrive at a drive thru and I just watch as he orders foods that I didn't take note of. He pulls up to the next window and pays and passes the food down to me. There were fries and chicken tenders, as well as lemonades cause the hospital has me on that wave.
I reach for a chicken tender but he pulls my hand away and I turn to him.
"Chill."
I nod and we're soon back on the road until he stops the car in a deserted place that I couldn't recognize.
I watch as he takes off his seatbelt followed by his jacket, handing it to me. "Sorry. Forgot the hoodie," he smiles apologetically.
I smile and laugh, taking it and zipping it on. "This will do." Guys don't seem to understand that we don't really care if we're wearing your hoodie, or your boxers or your dirty gym shorts from last week. All we want is to have a scent of you on us.
He shuffles around and pulls out an iPad from the backseat. I watch as he propped it on the dashboard and turns it on, going to downloads. "I know your favorite was Highschool Musical two," he says as he plays the movie.
That's basically how we spent the next two or so hours eating and watching one of the greatest movies of my childhood. And this time, he even knew all the words to the songs which surprised me cause I didn't even know them.
