Mia and I get into her car and I immediately buckle my belt, knowing how fast she tends to drive at night. She claims that this is the time the cops 'go to sleep' when in reality, this is the time when they're the most awake.

I pop out my phone and see a text from Drew.

Dee Dee: r y'all comin

Me: I think so

Me: Mia's over here taking the cringiest selfies

Dee Dee: well hurry here ay

I turn to Mia who is still taking selfies of herself. She was in a long sleeved floral crop top and a matching skater skirt and Converse. I helped her brush out her hair earlier as she told me about the day her and Austin met. The FULL story.

"Are you done?" I ask impatiently, waiting for Candy Crush to load.

Mia chuckles at her screen and I bend over a little, chuckling at the name on her screen. "Who's triple heart?" I ask, referring to the Emojis.

She smiles, texting back a see you there with a heart, "Austin, he was asking if we were coming," she responds as she began to drive down the road.

"Where are we going anyway?" I ask.

"Just going to Chuck E Cheese," she shrugs and I smile. I haven't been there since I was probably nine. We all got old and my parents grew tired of stopping us from crying when we saw the guy in the Chuck E costume so we just don't go anymore.

Not too long later, we arrived and I hop out, feeling a slight cold breeze as the sun slowly began to go down. Mia and I walk in and she immediately runs off when she spots Austin, jumping onto him as he pecked her cheek and smiles.

The smell of Gatorade and mint, though an odd combination but kind of satisfying scent, surrounds me as Jace props his head up on my neck. "Hey munchkin."

I look up in front of me and see that Jordan and Laila are getting sodas. Jordan turns to me than notices Jace, his smile widening before he walks off with Laila to a table.

"Hey," I say as I try to shift myself out of his touch. He chuckled at my fail before wrapping his shoulder around me and we approach the group. The place was kind of empty, the only people here were me of course, Jace, Mia, Austin, Drew, Zamiya, Jordan, Laila, Mae, Sage, Kaitlyn, Zayn and a few families and their children.

Jace and I slid into the booth with Drew and Zamiya in front of us. We all ate some pizza before collecting our coins and heading for the games.

I was practically being dragged along with Jace as he kept saying that I needed to 'have more fun'. Instagram is just as fun. We both sat at that little roller coaster game thing where the chairs vibrate like you're in a real roller coaster.

"Jjjjjjaaccce," my cheeks were moving in all directions from the vibration as I turn to Jace on my right, smiling like a banshee at me.

"Whaaattttttt?"

"I can't feel my butt," I say, suprised that it actually made its way out of my mouth clearly. Jace smiles before we make our way to other games. We played every single one and Everytime Jace lost one, he'd just buy more and more coins.

I had just spun the little ticket thing where it says how many tickets you'll earn but unfortunately only got twenty. I collect the tickets and shove them in my pocket. Jace spun like a freaking pro and got 200. How the fuck is that even possible?

"How'd you do that?" I ask still shocked.

Jace smiles, "It's all in the wrist."

It slowly began to get darker and that's when I had realized Kaitlyn and Zayn had left, probably went to sort out their issues or something. Jace and I made our way to the prize counter and I only had about 50 tickets so I just got candy and stuff.

"Do you like that?" Jace asks, pointing at the Elephant stuffed animal which was probably bigger than a five year old.

I shrug a, "Yeah," before Jace used 300 tickets to get it, the other few he decided to keep for another day that we came.

"Here." He smiled.

My eyes widen as I shake my head, "Jace, I couldn't-"

"But I want you to have it."

I smile at his words, a warm feeling going through my body as I take the elephant and say thank you. Everyone left and after Jace and Mia argued over who would take me home, I finally found myself in Mia's car. My elephant nice and buckled in the back.

"Who got that for you?" Mia asks as we make our way up the stairs and I plop down on her bed with the elephant.

"Jace."

After very much thought, I slid on the long Anime shirt Mia gave me with some shorts under that didn't show. I combed my hair up into a messy bun before putting on my Converse and heading down the stairs into Mia's kitchen.

We decided on having a little best friends day because we haven't done something alone together in awhile so we're gonna spend the day at the mall.

I walk into the dining room to find the table completely set with different breakfast foods, courtesy of Mia's chef. Her siblings were all down here though her parents were out of the country.

"Good morning," I say as I sit in between Gabe and Amari.

"Hey," Gabe smies at me and I return the gesture, Amari on my left, typing away on her phone. Amari is 12 with probably the best grades a 5th grader could ask for. She has black wavy hair and sharp brown eyes, running for Miss. Samoi 2381.

Gabe is 23, shame that he still lives with his parents with curly brown hair and matching eyes, a growing beard and glasses.

Camilla, my favorite after Mia of course, is 20. I'm insanely in love with her platinum blonde hair and piercing green eyes. Then there's Mia and Julianna who you've met.

"Hey Kayla. Is Jordan still with that Laila girl?" Amari asks, a disgusted sound heard from the way she said Lailas name but her accent coming out none the less. Amari goes to a girl's boarding school in London. Her parents didn't want her to go but she said she always wanted to go there so they decided to let her go because they just have that kind of money.

I chuckled, cutting up my pancakes, "They're not really together together. Just seeing each other."

"Can he see me?" She asks, her eyes shining brightly with hope.

I chuckled once more, "I'll let him no you said hi."

Mia walks in in jeans and a crop top, "Kayla, we have an appointment in thirty minutes," she props her head into the dining room.

"Oh!". I quickly stood and said bye to everyone before Mia and I head to the mall. She scheduled for us to get our nails done then we'll go shopping and get lunch later.

I stuck with a simple look. I had fake nails but they were shortened and painted white, a sunflower plopped on my middle fingers while Mia had hers done long as always but in white as well.

We did a little shopping, well, she did, I just got a new pair of glasses and some new bras, before we headed for the food court. I noticed a person I knew all too well, locking lips with some girl I've never met in my life. Their eyes closed as they had they're whole PDA filled moment.

It hurt a bit seeing that but I quickly composed myself as I realized that that's just the person Jace is and I shouldn't even try to think that we'll have something going or that we could be something.

It's all just him and his fucked up reputation.
