What do I hear, on a hot summer afternoon?
The wailing wind on dusty streets,
And the mundane marching of human lives;
The reluctant rustle of brittle leaves,
And the soft sighs of regret and remorse;
The occasional honking of a passing car,
And the roar of my rambunctious thoughts.
