"Write about a promise you've made to someone. Did you keep that promise? "

This is a tricky prompt, for in all my life I have not made a promise which falls under the firm meaning of promise, I do not mean those small ones, which we make to family and friends and manage to keep them to, most of the time. They are made on the spur of the moment and cause mild disappointment when not met, but often can be understood (e.g. I promise to take you out today, and it turns out to the day the boss decides that the numbers or a certain job should have been done yesterday so you end up in office way past midnight - a promise made and broken but nothing serious).

The promise I presume is one which is serious and one which broken could cause heartbreak, so this type of promise, I have not had an opportunity to make, which in a way is good for then there is no chance of me breaking it either. But if in the future, I do make such a promise, I shall strive my best to keep it.

Promises are made to be kept...
