"Write about being overstimulated by a lot of chaos."

Chaos within and chaos without,
Chaos in the mind and in the heart;
Chaos rules our emotions and our thought,
Chaos that threatens to tear us apart.
Distractions and disturbances abound,
Yet battle with the silences in our mind;
Ideas run amok while time seems to be still,
Peace and calm, impossible to find.
It is a strange battle, between contradicting wishes,
For company we want and solitude we crave;
Conflicting are all our desires and needs,
Against reason and rationale we do behave.
We seek order in art and form in our tales,
But with our actions, bring chaos in our lives;
Our thoughts are careless, acts are senseless,
And we bemoan that disorder thrives.
Chaos within and chaos without,
Chaos in the mind and in the heart;
Chaos rules our emotions and our thought,
Chaos that threatens to tear us apart.
