"Write about a very fragile or delicate object ."

It is a muscular organ, which pumps blood through the bodies, a sign of life. Anatomically, constructed of striated muscles, it has four chambers; and rhythmically, consistently pumps blood, whether we are asleep or awake.
If only that was the only job it has, but no, unfortunately, this organ is also the seat of emotions and the cause of all our conflicts. Who would imagine that this small bunch of muscles (it is slightly larger than our closed fist) could fit in so many emotions, so many feelings and so much sentiment? Our lives are ruled and ruined because of this one beating mass of muscle.
It is strongest, anatomically; and the most fragile, emotionally. It carries memories and grudges, hides hurt and pain and makes you lose your mind and reason. It can be broken with a word and takes pages to heal, though the cracks are always there. A smile can shatter it, a touch can make it jump in joy; petulant and unreasonable, it makes you hanker after love and happiness, adulation and adoration, appreciation and fame. It makes you cry when you are sad and also when you are happy. It kills your hunger with joy and ruins your diet with sorrow, how else would chocolate and ice cream be the cure for sadness?
It is an oxymoron and a paradox, for though it can be fragile, it is stronger with every crack it undergoes; though it can be shattered with a feather of a smile it can give you wings to soar.
It could be broken but it is beautiful and just because it keeps beating, in spite all the breaks you inflict, it is the most fragile thing in the world.
Take care of your heart and that of the others too...
