"Write about someone you miss dearly."
______________________________________________
I miss her, miss her with an yearning of my soul. Not always, but when I do, it is gut wrenching. I miss the her childhood innocence, when her dreams were sweet and disappointments few. I miss her wide eyed wonder, for everything she saw was something new. I miss her enthusiasm for the little things in life, a game with friends, savouring the delicacies made by her mothers, riding the bicycle in the rain, watching the breath mist in the cold winter rain, new school uniforms, the smell of brown paper which she would carefully wrap the new books.
I miss her questions and her willingness to learn, her readiness to explore new fields, without fear of failure. I miss her adventurous spirit, her hope of flying overcoming her fear of falling. She had her shares of broken dreams but she could always lose them in new dreams; she was not afraid of dreaming. She was full of plans and ideas, sure that hard work was enough to achieve them, oblivious that life was never going to be simple. Life, for her, was an endless vista of studies and games, interrupted by examinations.
I miss the girl I was.

I liked writing this out, short and sweet. Do let me know whom you miss?
