"Write about your daily habits and routine. "

___________________________________________

My routine:

5:00 - wake up to the alarm, immediately without putting it on snooze

6:00 - spent at least 45 minutes writing on my stories, irrespective of the word count or the grammar correctness

7:00 - help mom with the cooking

8:00 - one hour of relaxing with my mom over a cup of hot coffee and getting ready for office

9:00 - leave home for office

10:00 - hopefully in office, provided there is not much of traffic,

1:30 - an hour's lunch break, which I have at my desk, reading books or catching up with comments

4:30 - coffee break, which I utilise to write out my 365 day challenge

6:30 - leave for home

7:30 - maximum time for me to reach home (depending on the traffic)

8:30 dinner, after playing with my cuddle monster

9:30 start dressing my cuddle monster for bed

10:30 - if lucky, I should be able to put the cuddle monster to sleep

11:30 - one hour of time to catch up with my stories (reading and writing), before I hit the sack

Sounds good, right? In fact, too good to be true, right?

Well you are right, it is too good to be true, what I wrote above is what I would like my routine to be, planned and timed perfectly. Unfortunately, life happens and the lazy me interferes so more often than not, the above routine goes for a toss.

I snooze, along with the alarm, for more than forty five minutes. Even if I do get up early, I spent the time snoozing over the laptop, wondering why those ideas, which I have in my head, in glorious techni colour, refuse to flow out of my fingers and onto the paper. I laze over the coffee and then spend time playing with my cuddle monster, which means I have to hurry to office. Office, is bad or mad or sad or all the three of those emotions at the same time. Driving home is a strain, as everyone is in a hurry to reach home, which only delays everyone else.

At the end of the day, I am too tired but unwilling to give up on attempting to write, which again is not productive (now you know why my stories never materialise). The only highlight is my cuddle monster, and when he sings, 'atta, atta, atta' that is music which washes away all weariness.

Weekends - I do not bother, there is not point even pretending to have routine, not when nothing works as planned.
