Kirstie sat down on one of the theater chairs she opened her white, overflowing binder and looked up at the empty stage. "Can I have Scott and Mitch to stage, please?" Kirstie called into her headset and smiled as she saw her two best friends walk onto the stage. They were in the middle of their costume parade for Kirstie's final: a student directed show.
Kirstie nodded them off when she liked how their costumes looked under the lights, and she was about to call the next two actors on, but she jumped when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist. "Relax, Love, it's just me." Her boyfriend, Avi, chuckled.
"Oh, hey." Kirstie caught her breath before turning around and kissing him.
"Hey, so...are you busy tonight?" Avi asked quietly, so that the conversation would stay between the two of them.
"Um...I mean, we open in fourteen days, so..." Kirstie stuttered.
Avi frowned slightly. "Alright. Never mind then."
"I'm sorry, Love, I--" Kirstie started.
"No, don't be sorry, please. Schoolwork over anything else, I promise."
"Thank you, Love." Kirstie blushed slightly, pecking Avi's lips.
"Of course. Now, get back to work." Avi joked with a wink.
"I hate you." Kirstie laughed.
"That's a lie." Avi winked once more and blew a kiss to Kirstie. Before he left, he waved to Mitch and Scott, who then waved back.

Kirstie rubbed her eyes over her eyes as she stared at her laptop. She flinched as she felt the weight of the device get lifted from her legs. "Hey!" She gasped, turning around when she saw Avi. "What are you doing! That show is my final, it's--"
"Give me thirty minutes of your time, please. I know I said all that stuff earlier, but thirty minutes, please."
Kirstie rolled her eyes. "Fine." She begrudgingly followed Avi to his dorm, which was just a room down the hall. When he opened the door, she was faced with a dinner on the small table in the dorm. "Avriel..." She gushed. "What is...what is all of this?"
"Frozen pizza gets boring after a while, huh?" He winked, leading her to the table.
Kirstie smiled at her plate of pasta. "Thank you, Avi, so much."
"Of course."
