More of an all of PTX oneshot ❤
"You know we're leaving in like five minutes, right, Kirst?" Avi opened Kirstie's door to find her sitting at her desk, still in her pajamas.
She snapped her head up and looked at the clock. "Crap, it's five already? Just give me--" Kirstie scrambled around to put her laptop and notes away, all while trying to pick out and outfit and take down her topknot.
"Kirstin, Kirstin, relax, please. We can be late, it's just a Scömìche party, okay? Breathe." Avi laughed.
Kirstie pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose. "Okay, leave please, I'm going to change into this dress, put in my contacts, do light makeup, and we can call it, okay?"
"You got it." Avi closed her door and let her get ready.
Twenty minutes later, she was ready, and they were both sitting in Avi's car. She was trying to smile and look positive, but in all honesty, she didn't want to go to the party. Their parties always had loud music (and I mean loud) and drinks and people and all Kirstie wanted to do was finish the lesson she was on and finish writing her newest song for her newest EP, but no, no, she had to go to this party.
See, the lesson she was working on was actually for an online music college she had enrolled in. She was studying in music education, just in case this whole EP and PTX thing falls through. But then again, balancing school, PTX, and her EP as of now, was posing to be a challenge.
And this party was the last place she wanted to be at.

"Hey, Kit!" She was greeted by Scott when he opened the door. She looked behind him, and saw what she expected; a bunch of people, bright lights, loud music and drinks. "Avi!" He exclaimed and hugged the bass too.
"Sorry we're late." Kirstie spoke up.
"No worries." Scott smiled. "Come in, come in, Mitch is around here somewhere." Scott looked behind himself, trying to see if he could find Mitch. He had no luck, so Kirstie told him not to worry about it, and that she'd find him herself. "Listen, drinks, water, soda, whatever else, in the fridge, you know the drill." Scott laughed.
"Thanks." Kirstie smiled, and the both of them stepped into the party, Avi soon getting swept away into conversation with another guest. Kirstie turned the corner of the room, going to the fridge to in fact get herself a can of Sprite, and that's where she found Mitch. "Hi, Mitch!"
"Hey!" Mitch spun around, still kind of dancing in place to the music that filled the room. "How've you been?"
"Busy." Kirstie laughed.
"Here, I have something to tell you, let's go somewhere a bit quieter." Mitch pulled Kirstie to the study. Of course it was empty, because who parties in a study? "Okay, I haven't broken the news to Scott yet, and I don't know how he's going to take it, but..." Mitch grinned like a child on Christmas morning.
"Mitchy, what is it?" Kirstie asked with bright eyes.
"I got a gig with Louboutin. In London. They want me to consult and model, and..." He bubbled over with complete happiness. Then his smile soon fell.
"What's wrong? That's amazing!"
"I'm contracted there for a year."
"Oh..." Thoughts of Mitch leaving Scott for a year ran through Kirstie's mind. "Scott will understand, Mitch. He will. He's your best friend, he'll want nothing more than for you to take this opportunity and run with it."
"Thanks, Kirst."
"Hey, call me when you've told him, okay?"
"You got it."
~~~~~
After Mitch and Kirstie's talk, the party went on and guests started leaving nearing one o'clock, leaving just Pentatonix at the house. The band talked for a while, just about everything. Solo projects and all the rest of it, but Mitch stayed pretty quiet. Kirstie and Avi said their goodbyes and left nearing two-thirty.
"Avi, listen, I've been thinking about this whole EP thing, and I think I want to put it on the back burner for a bit. I want to see where Pentatonix goes."
"I understand that." Avi rested a hand on her thigh as he kept driving.
"Are you okay with that?"
"Why do you need my approval?" Avi asked.
"Because you have your whole thing about plan B's, and...I don't really know." Kirstie laughed.
"No, I support you, one hundred percent."
"Thank you."
"Of course." Avi gave her a kiss and right as they pulled in to the lot, Kirstie's phone started ringing.
"You go inside, I'll be in in a few."
"Alright."
Kirstie answered the call. "I have something to tell you." Both her and Mitch said at the same time. "You first." Kirstie said.
"No, you first."
"Fine." Kirstie laughed. "I've decided to put my EP on a break for a bit." This saddened Mitch even more. Her EP was amazing, sure she only teased the group with a little "appetizer" of it, but even those thirty seconds were pure gold. "But what's your news?"
Mitch sighed. "Scott didn't take the news all too well."
