And idea I had and I needed to share it with morningthunderstorms, and being the obnoxiously descriptive writer I am, I came here because messages only hold so many characters, and when it hits the limit and I have to start over, it breaks my train of thought, so...Enjoy!

Character Profile:

Girl: Dark hair, "super sweet, but I wouldn't mess with her" kind of a vibe

Guy: Tom Hiddleston level of gentleman-ness, we'd get some classy, Gastby like guy (ITS PLAYING OUT IN MY HEAD, I PROMISE)

Okay, the video is set at this whole fancy gala dinner. Black tie formal, invitation only kind of a thing.

**What the actors are doing is done without speaking, as it's done in a music video, but it's obvious what's going on.**

**Also, the video would switch from showing the story to showing the artists singing and stuff in some beautiful landscape or something**

Anyways, we're at our gala, and they both came alone for whatever reason. So, it's one of those cliche, "see each other across the room" things.

Basically, they start talking and order drinks (Old Fashioned's as the song suggests), and they're dancing, and they're having an amazing time with this stranger.

After some dancing and eating and drinking and all the rest of it, they both come to this great idea like "Let's skip this party and go on an adventure"

So, they get in the guy's car and they're just driving...somewhere. In my head, it's a city street that's deserted because everyone is at this gala or whatever, so they're just flying. All the buildings are still lit up and stuff, anyways, not the point.

HERE'S WHERE IT GETS COMPLICATED (BRACE YOURSELVES):

One of them turns on the radio, and when they do, the story line scenes change. It then shows them actually dating, going on some more adventures (eating pasta in one of the adventures!), buying/sharing/decorating an apartment for them to share, him proposing at some stunning location, a wedding, a family, etc, etc.

By the time this is all over, they're at the last few lines of the song:

Ridin' in a getaway car
I was cryin' in a getaway car
I was dyin' in a getaway car
Said goodbye in a getaway car

By "ridin' in a getaway car", the scenes are back in real time, and they're still in his car.

"Said goodbye in a getaway car" hits, and right as the sentence ends, his/or/her phone starts chiming, and the camera shows a text:

From: My Ex

-I still love you

THEN the other person sees this (mind you, there's still soft notes of the general music playing in the backdrop of this), and whoever got the text shakes their head, throws the phone into the backseat...

...AND THEY KISS!
