Let's go live, because it makes us feel alive

"Baby..." Scott sighed, anxiously biting down on his bottom lip as he ran a hand over his unshaven chin. "I'm worried about you."

"It'll be okay. The hotel and the company are both being super cool about it." Mark explained, fiddling with the collar on his shirt as he spoke.

"You sure?" Scott asked for maybe the millionth time on that call. He craved the reassurance.

Mark exhaled softly. "Positive, Baby. I'll be back home as soon as possible, alright? Now, how are you holding up over there?"

"Good. I'm quarantining with Mitch for at least a few nights." Scott lowered his voice just in case Mitch was near his room. "He and Beau got into a bit of a scuffle. They've kind of hit a rough patch, I think, honestly."

Mark sighed. "That's too bad. Send Mitch love from me, and I guess I'll see him soon, too."

"Alright. I will. Talk to you later?"

"Talk later. Love you, Scotty."

Scott chuckled and blew a kiss into his phone speaker. "Love you most, Mark. See you."

Scott sighed, sitting back on his hands. His feet were still against the carpet, seeing as he currently was deciding if he should go find Mitch or not. It was getting late, and neither one of them had had dinner yet.

Scott groaned and pushed himself up to a standing position. He rubbed his eyes once more as he started looking for Mitch around his apartment.

"Mitch?" Scott asked, peering out his window to see Mitch on his fire escape. Scott cracked the window and joined him there, immediately realizing that he was talking to someone on his phone.

Scott closed the window behind himself, and the latch shut loudly. This sudden noise made Mitch flinch, almost dropping his phone.

"Oh!" Mitch chuckled warily. "It's just Scott! Come say hi, Scotty!"

Scott got closer and realised that Mitch was currently livestreaming to the Pentaholics. He knew he was on camera, so he tried his best to hide his concern.

"Sorry that I gave you such a fright, there."

"No worries." Mitch tried to brush it off as if it was nothing, but Scott knew his best friend, and he knew something was up.

"Listen, not to interrupt your live, but I was wondering if you were hungry? Want like...I don't know, a frozen pizza or something?"

At Scott's question, comments immediately started flooding in.

Omg, are y'all quarantined together?

Scomiche and frozen pizza! A matchup I didn't know I needed until now

Mitch, are you at Scott's?

Mitch began to turn his eyes away from reading the flowing comments when one in particular caught his attention. Scott saw his eyes darken and demeanor immediately switch when this comment came up.

Baby, I miss you. Come home.

Mitch was quick, but not quick enough, to put his camera persona back on. He forcefully giggled "No, Scott. I-I'm good for pizza."

"You sure?" Scott frowned.

"Yeah, I'm good. Promise." Mitch nodded, rapidly switching his gaze between Scott and the livestream.

Baby.

Another comment, a stream of them, all from the same person.

Come home.
