Why do you feel like you're a horrible daughter? Is it because you can't help your mom financially? Let me tell you, sweetheart... it's not your responsibility to pay the mortgage. You are a daughter, not a spouse. I know you may want to help her and release financial stress. But believe me, when I tell you this, your mom wouldn't want you to help or feel this way babygirl.
Be thankful you're not Danielle Bregoli! For those who don't know ow who Danielle is, I will include a YouTube clip of that smart ass teen.
Danielle and her mother do not have a healthy relationship. They curse at one another, fight with words and it becomes physical. No mother wants that kind of relationship with her baby. No matter your age, you will always be her baby. I am 32 and my mom is 50. I am still her baby and I still call her mama or mommy. So you will always be her baby and you're not a horrible daughter. Unless you beat on your mom (which I know ow you don't) then don't consider yourself a horrible daughter.
You're not a horrible daughter, I can tell from the times you and I have talked. A daughter is a shining star in her mom's eyes. You know her inside and out.
I've made many mistakes in life, I'm a recovering addict and my mom still supports me and tells me I'm her everything.
Love makes a mother and daughter bond... not monetary items. It's not your place to worry about finances sweetheart. You're young, enjoy it while you can.
Sit your mom down and confide in her. Tell her what you're telling me. It will bring you closer together if you open up to her. She can feel that you're stressing. Open up to her. I'm sure she will tell you the same things I am.
There is a special bond between a mama and daughter. It will always be there no matter what. Just love each other and the rear will fall in line.
