TWENTY-TWO

Hana picked at her hangnail and tried to understand what Hoseok had told her about humans stepping into Hell. She looked up at Yoongi who had fallen asleep on her bed, and Taehyung was listening to music. Jimin had gone back to the human world for a few of their personal belongings, so Taehyung had his iPod and he was miming the words to the song with his eyes closed.

She wondered how they could take the news so well, unless they were good at hiding their feelings. Hana sighed and ran her hands though her hair. She rested her head back on the wall and closed her eyes, remembering Hoseok's voice.

"Once a human, an alive human, crosses the threshold to Hell, they lose all human abilities" He told them "The ability to die like a human"

"So we can't die?" Yoongi asked.

"Of course you can die" Hoseok said "In fact, why don't I show you how you can die"

"Your highness" Jimin said "Yoongi and Taehyung, you are no longer human and you can no longer live in the human world. You are classes as demons, yet you don't have the full power of demons. Of course, you can learn the power but I'm not sure that is such a good idea since you weren't born as demons"

"Then what about our family?" Taehyung asked "Are you saying that we can never see them again?"

Jimin sighed "Yes. That is what we are saying. It is for the best and-"

"This was against our will!" Yoongi shouted "How can you expect us to just sit back and-"

"Your family won't understand" Hoseok said "They also won't believe you. But, if you want to go the human world, then be my guest"

Hana's eyes went wide when Hoseok clicked his fingers, to reveal a large black door. He pushed the door open and Taehyung gasped.

"That's my room"

"Go ahead" Hoseok said "Go back to the human world"

"Hoseok, you-" Jimin started.

"But I will tell you this" Hoseok said, glaring at the two boys "You won't survive in the human world. You will die within a week because you are a demon. The human world is very different to Hell and isn't strong enough to support demons"

"What...what about my family?" Yoongi asked "They will think I'm missing"

"That isn't my problem" Hoseok shrugged and the door vanished "Hana...you have also lost the human aspect, but with you it's different"

"Why?" Hana asked quietly.

"Because you are part of a devils contract" Hoseok folded his arms "You are now a demon, but when you marry me you will change"

"I don't want to"

Hoseok sighed "You will change whether you like it or not. I don't have a say in the matter, it's just how the contract works"

"What will I change into?"

Hoseok looked over at Jimin before turning to Hana "A devil"

Hana reopened her eyes when there was a knock on the door. She didn't move until she heard Jimin's voice.

"Hana...Yoongi...Taehyung" He said "Lunch is ready"

"I'm not leaving this room" Hana said and Jimin knocked on the door again "Why can't you leave me alone?"
