Hoseok walked through Hell's prison with Jimin at his side. Jimin had fully healed and was a coiled spring ready to snap. His eyes were blood red and hadn't said a spoken a proper sentence since he lost his temper with a demon who broke into the palace. Not even Hoseok wanted to anger him. He was grateful that his friend hadn't turned his back on him even though he had done a lot of damage when he had let his inner monster free.

"Jimin" Hoseok said, as a guard opened a door for them.

"Yes your highness" Jimin said looking at the passing prisoners.

"I..." Hoseok stopped walking and looked at Jimin "Thank you for being my friend"

Jimin finally smiled at him "Hoseok, you don't need to thank me. I've told you that I will be by your side till the very end"

"Yes, but I never thanked you for it" He said "I don't show how much I appreciate you"

"Maybe, but this isn't the time to have a heart to heart your highness" Jimin said "We have somewhere to be and things to do"

Hoseok nodded "I suppose"

They began to walk again  and by the time the reached the end jail, both their bodies were tense and Hoseok could feel himself getting angry. But he took a deep breath and motioned for the guard to unlock the door.

The door swung open revealing his brother, Jungkook and Namjoon. Their bodies were held up by heavy chains, not letting them sit. Their arms stretched above them, and a thick metal collar was wrapped around their necks. Their ankles chained to the cold cobbled floor beneath them.

Their heads hung as low as the collar would let them, and they were still broken from the previous battle. They were healing, but slowly. Many of Hoseok's followers wanted to know why he hadn't ended their lives, but not even Hoseok knew why.

Jin lifted his head, making the chains rattle "Little brother. What brings you to my humble abode?"

Hoseok walked forward and stopped a few steps away from his brother. He didn't say anything. He just stared at how much his brother had changed. When they were little, Hoseok used to look up to him. Jin was so strong, so loved and a good role model. But something changed and he became a devil that he didn't want to be.

"You've not come to see me before" Jin said, coughing slightly "Why are you here now?"

"I want to know why you did it" Hoseok said.

"I didn't mean to stab her" Jin said quietly "I never intended to kill her. I wanted to kill you"

"No. This isn't about Hana" Hoseok said.

"Then what is it about, brother?" Jin snapped.

"Why did you want to kill our parents?" Hoseok said "I...I know what happened that day. I know I found you trying to kill them and I...I lost the battle with my inner monster"

Jin sighed "You killed them by accident. They were protecting me. They never were smart"

"Tell me why you wanted them dead"

Jin gave Hoseok a weak shrug, making the chains clang "Because I hated them. They were both weak. Father was going to ruin Hell and mother supported him. If I killed them, I would have been king and I would have made Hell how it should have been. A place where humans fear. A place full of fire and torture"

"I wouldn't have allowed that"

"They were going to burn that contract" Jin said "The contract with Hana. All because they couldn't find her. Father thought the human girl needed a normal life. So, I managed to track them down. Of course it was their mistake"

Hoseok clenched his fists.

"That girl forgot to put more salt around the house, and when they stepped over the threshold, I smelt them" Jin looked up at his brother "I followed them with Namjoon and Jungkook. I can still remember their faces when I stepped in front of them"

"It was great" Jungkook croaked out "I held her as her parents tried to fight. They were so weak"

"I killed them so I could keep the contract" Jin said "It states that if the humans go against the contract, they are to die and that child would be taken to Hell when she hits 18. But she ran and we let her slip from our grasps"

"That bitch managed to get away from me" Namjoon said "That scar she has down her back, was me trying to grab her. But she flew over that threshold before I could grab her"

"We didn't tell you we found her because you would want to stop me" Jin sighed "But then I tried to kill our parents and I was banished as a traitor"

"You still are a traitor" Jimin said "You tried to kill the king of Hell and you kidnapped his future wife"

"The Devil's Contract was mine" Jin said, glaring at Jimin "That contract has my name on it and Hana will always belong to me"

"Hana isn't an object" Hoseok said and the three demons hanging by chains looked up at him "I used to think that she was but she isn't and she never will be"

"But-"

"I will send her back to the human world with her friends. Even if that means letting my heart break" Hoseok said quietly.

"You love her" Jin whispered.

"I...I do love her" Hoseok said "But it's too late. Because she married you and I lost her because you were selfish and searching for more power"

"I-"

"You never once thought about her and how she felt" Hoseok said.

"Hoseok, I-"

"I won't kill you" Hoseok said turning his back on them "But you will never see the sun again. You will spend the rest of your days in this room. In a few years, you might be able to be free of the chains, but you will die here wishing for death"

"Brother wait!" Jin yelled "I didn't marry her!"

"Do not lie to me" Hoseok said walking away "You won't see me again, Jin. I hope your death is painless"

"I couldn't do it" Jin said "Hoseok, I couldn't do it! I couldn't...I couldn't marry her"
