Back from tour

5 months- that's how long it's been since Selena left for tour and you had not been able to go out to see her on tour, making you miss her even more. Selena has decided that she wanted to get an Uber home, to see you at home instead of at the airport.

You had gotten a late start this morning. It wasn't your fault though, you were so excited about Selena coming home today that you could barely sleep. You jumped out of bed at 11am, Selena would be home in 3 hours and you were freaking out. You wanted to prepare her dinner and for the house to be spotless, but you weren't sure where to start and you wouldn't have time for both so you decided to clean up a little and order takeout instead. You looked up at the clock 1:15pm, Selena would be home in about 45 minutes, her flight would probably land in about 15 minutes. You decided to do the laundry and dishes real fast before you'd order dinner, your phone beeped indicating that Selena had texted you.
"Hey sunshine. Just landed and heading home now. Love you and can't wait to be back in your arms in just a few minutes! Love, your baby, Sel. Xoxo"
You typed back a quick response and called for takeout, beginning to pace back and forth, you were getting so anxious!

There was a knock at the door and you opened it, greeting the delivery man who had Your Chinese food in his hand. You paid for the food and tipped him, walking back inside and getting out the plates, beginning to set everything up. You turned all the lights off and you wanted to light candles to make everything more romantic but since it was only 2 in the afternoon now you decided to just open the curtains instead. Everything was ready and you were so nervous. Suddenly you heard a car door close and the front door opening- this was it. You'd been waiting for 5 long months and now, your girlfriend was finally home. You heard her set down her suitcases and duffle bags and then.. her sweet voice, yelling out for you. "Y/N!" And then, there she was. Right there, right in front of you. She was home. She was finally home. "Selena!" You ran over to her and jumped into her arms, your legs going around her waist as she held on tightly to you, her hands on your back securely and her head resting on yours. "Oh my god! Selena, you're home. You're finally home! I missed you so much!" She lowered you back on the ground gently, her forehead resting on yours as she looked in your eyes, her beautiful brown eyes making you weak in the knees. Suddenly her lips were on yours and you kissed back instantly, your arms wrapping around her neck to bring her closer to you, your bodies so close there was no space left between the two of you.

She pulled away and smiled, cupping your chin in her hands. "I'm home, sunshine. God I missed you so much, I love you, I love you so much!" You kissed her once more before grabbing her hands in yours and walking towards the table. She sat down and you sat across from her, your hands finding their way back to each other and holding onto each other tightly. "Y/N, Chinese food. Baby this is amazing!" "Well I wanted you to come home to your favorite food. I wanted everything to be perfect." "Hey. Everything is perfect, you're here. Everything is absolutely perfect as long as I have you." She brought your hand to her lips, leaving a small trail of kisses on your hand.

You two ate dinner while you laughed and held each other's hands softly, not letting go at all. That's also how you spent that night- laughing together as you held onto one another, not letting go.
