"i'll be home soon"

You stood in the airport trying to hold back your tears. You've been dreading this day for months now and it had arrived faster than you hoped. Selena was leaving for a couple months for a promo tour and you weren't looking forward to spending the next couple months alone.

"Y/n?" You heard Selena's voice before her hand started to rub your back. "You okay?" You didn't wanna look up at her. You know that if you look into her eyes you won't be able to stop yourself from crying. "Angel, look at me..." her voice was trembling as if she was struggling to hold her own tears back. It broke your heart and you couldn't resist looking at her.

You saw that she was crying and your own tears quickly started to fall when you saw hers. You wrapped your arms around her and pressed your head against her chest. "I don't want you to go, Sel. Please don't go." Selena sniffled and rubbed your back, her hands shaking as she moved one to wipe her tears away. "I'm sorry, sunshine, I have to."

This made you cry harder. You didn't care about the fans that surely recognized you and Selena. All you could focus on was spending your last few minutes with her for the next couple of months. "I'm gonna miss you so much." You sobbed and Selena nodded her head. "I'll miss you too." You started to sob harder so Selena gently grabbed your chin and lightly tapped her finger on your cheek, encouraging you to lift your gaze up to meet hers.

"Hey, it's not gonna be long until I get back. I'm all yours when i'm back, angel. I won't have anything to do for a while afterwards so it'll be just the two of us, for as long as you want. We'll just stay in bed and watch all your favorite movies." You smiled and Selena's heart skipped a beat. "That sounds nice." Selena kissed you, but the sound of the announcer letting everyone know that her plane was boarding made her pull away.

"Please don't cry. I'll be home soon. I love you so much y/n. I'll call you everyday and i'll text you and FaceTime you every chance I get." You nodded your head and kissed her one last time. "I love you too Selena. Text me when your flight lands?" She nodded and kissed your forehead. "I will. I'll see you soon, angel." She let go of your hand and started to walk away.

But both of you were already ready for her to come back home. You hoped these next couple of months will go by quick because every minute that she's not by your side feels like torture.
