"You almost ready, sunshine?" Selena asked as she stood in the doorway, watching as you searched for something to wear. It's your two year anniversary tonight and to celebrate Selena is taking you out for dinner.
You looked back at her and grinned making her heart flutter. "Yeah, almost. Just give me like five more minutes." She nodded and stared at you for a few seconds before going back downstairs to wait for you.
You saw your favorite dress hanging up in the closet, one you don't wear very much because you only wear it for special occasions, but what better time to wear it than tonight? You slid it on, admiring how the black lace looked on you. It always makes you feel so beautiful when you wear it.
You ran your hand through your hair and walked downstairs. Selena was in the kitchen on her phone, scrolling through instagram and liking a few posts here and there. But when she heard your heels on the floor she turned around, her jaw hitting the floor when she saw you. "Whoa..." you blushed and twirled around, giggling as she continued to stare. "Do I look alright?"
She set her phone on the counter and walked over to you, her eyes roaming up and down your body. "Are you kidding? You look beautiful - wait, no. Beautiful is an understatement. You look exquisite." You smiled at her and Selena felt her heart start to race, her fingers intertwined with yours as she leaned in to kiss you sweetly.
"Happy anniversary my beautiful girl." She said softly as she brushed her nose against yours. "Happy anniversary baby." She led you out to the car, ready to celebrate tonight with you.
