you get hurt

You walked around the park with Selena. Her hand was intertwined with yours and her thumb would brush along your knuckles here and there. It's late but neither of you feel tired, a somewhat normal occurrence for you both these days. So when Selena suggested a walk through the park, something that would kill your boredom and antsiness as well as maybe make you both a little more tired, you agreed.

Though there were lampposts throughout the park it's still darker than you thought it would be and you didn't see the branch that was on the ground until you tripped over it and cut your hand. Selena was on the ground next to you in an instant, her hand grabbing yours as she felt the blood trickle onto her fingers. "Oh baby, c'mon, let's get you home. We gotta get you cleaned up."

Your knee was scraped up too and it hurt to walk on so Selena picked you up in her arms and carried you home. When she got you upstairs to the bathroom she sat you down on the counter and grabbed the first aid kit. Your knee was still bleeding but your hand had stopped. She placed a soft kiss to your cheek before grabbing your hand and starting to clean it.

You winced and bit your lip, tears falling from your eyes when it started to sting. "I know angel, i'm so sorry. I'm almost done." She cleaned your leg up too and placed a bandage over the scrapes. When she finished she wiped the tears from your eyes and took your hand, bringing it up to her lips and planting a few soft kisses to your skin.

"You okay?" You nodded, your eyes dry now and your leg and hand both bandaged up. Selena kissed your lips lovingly, her hands traveling to your thighs, and she picked you up and carried you to bed. "I'm sorry you got hurt, my angel. Is there anything you need?" You giggled as she scattered kisses to your face. "Selena, I scraped my hand and my knee, I didn't break a bone." She giggled, the vibration hitting your skin making you squirm. "I know baby, but I love you and I wanna make you feel better."

You smiled and opened your arms. "Okay, then cuddle me." Selena giggled, planting one last kiss to your forehead before laying down next to you and gently pulling you to her chest. You felt her thumb brush along your stomach and you noticed then just how sleepy you felt. You felt Selena brush a lock of your hair behind your ear as you closed your eyes, and with one last kiss to your temple and a soft 'I love you' in your ear, you were out like a light, safely wrapped up in Selena's embrace.
