You were accompanying Selena to the billboard music awards tonight. She was nominated for three awards and you were so excited for her and oh so proud. She was such a hard worker and was so passionate about everything she did and it inspired you so much. You were excited because this was your first time at an award show! There were so many celebrities surrounding you and there were cameras everywhere, but you couldn't focus on anything but Selena.

Selena had only won one of the awards she was nominated for tonight so far, but the last one was being announced now and you had a feeling that she was gonna win. You were so lost in your thoughts that you almost didn't hear the guy say Selena's name- confirming her win. She immediately turned towards you and wrapped her arms around you tightly before kissing you sweetly and walking up the stage to receive her award. You watched her with such adoration on your face, your heart was so full. She was smiling from ear to ear and it made you so happy to see all of her hard work being recognized and appreciated. Selena began thanking her friends, family, and friends before taking a breath and looking at you, the biggest smile on her face as you two stared at each other. "And I'd also really like to thank my girlfriend y/n who is so supportive of me. She really gives me so much strength and makes so happy. When I was writing a few of these songs I wrote them about her and I surprised her with them. It's really hard sometimes to find true love in an industry like this but I've found it. She's my rock, my ride or die and I'm so grateful that she's here with me tonight.." you saw the people surrounding you look at you and smile, a couple pats on the shoulder as you just continued to watch her and listen to her with pure love. "I love you, sunshine. Thank you all." She walked off the stage before walking back towards you and kissing you passionately, both of you feeling so so happy.

She grabbed your hand before walking backstage with you, the whole time Selena stopping to introduce you to some celebrities but you didn't really pay much attention to them. Your arms were wrapped securely around her stomach, people were taking photos and videos of the two of you being absolutely adorable together, stealing the show. As you walked backstage you kept your arms around her and kissed her exposed shoulder from time to time making her giggle. When you got backstage she pulled away from you and turned towards you, wrapping her arms around your waist to being you closer to her. You rubbed your nose against hers, both of you giggling as she grabbed one of your hands in hers and kissed it softly. "I'm so proud of you Sel. This is what you deserve. You work so hard and you're finally getting the love you deserve." "Thank you baby. I'm gonna have to bring you with me to award shows more often. I think you might just be my good luck charm." She smiled as she rested her forehead against yours making you smile and giggle before she kissed you once again. You could definitely get used to this.
