You and Selena were having a movie night. You were laying on the couch holding her while she had her head in your lap. You were running your fingers through her hair and noticed that her eyes were fluttering shut and would stay closed for a few seconds before she'd open them back up and try to fight the sleep slowly taking over her body.
"Selena you can go to sleep" "no. No I'm alright. I wanna stay up and watch the movie with you. Spend time with you". "Selena there will be other times for that. You're tired and you've been working hard. Go to sleep, it's alright." "Are you sure?" "Yes." "Are you absolutely positive?" "Yes Selena, I am sure. Seriously go to sleep babe. It's okay." "Okay. Don't go anywhere" "I won't. I'll be right here when you wake up. I promise." "I love you y/n" "I love you too Selena". You kissed her forehead as her eyes closed and stayed shut this time. You couldn't help but smile as you watched her sleep. She looked so beautiful and peaceful, almost like she had a halo over her head. You continued to run your hands through her hair as she slept and thought about how lucky you were to call her yours.
