"Hank?" You gasped, stepping back from the glass in horror.

The man in the room raised his head. The microphones must have been on.

"[F/N]?"

You ran towards the glass, pressing your hands on it. "Hank!! It's going to be okay. I'll get you out of there, I promise!"

"[F/N] is that you? Thank god you're alright..." Hank looked weary, as if he had been there for a long time, without rest. "Where's Connor? Is he with you?"

You froze. You didn't know how to reply.

"Connor will be with me soon. But first, we have to get you out of there!"

"No... not me..." Hank muttered, shaking his head. "Connor... Connor is in danger..." His words slurred as he spoke them. It seemed like he had been drugged. "I heard 'em... that they are coming after him... then they will come after you..."

Just then, you heard footsteps behind you; And from their irregular rhythm, you knew it was not RK900.

"Well isn't this just sweet." You felt your blood run cold at the words. You turned to see Elijah Kamski, pacing towards you. "A family reunion? And I didn't even get an invitation..."

You were suddenly drawn back to the glass at the sound of a scraping and clattering. You turned back to see Hank, now lying on the floor, his hands still cuffed around the chair. He was struggling to get up. His eyes were wide with panic and anger, a look that you had never seen on his face.

"WHERE ARE YOU? SHOW YOURSELF YOU BASTARD!!!"

Kamski simply chuckled.

"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER, Y'HERE ME?! I WILL KILL YOU IF YOU HURT HER!!"

Kamski's chuckles faded and he began to scowl. "It's no fun when they are pleading for someone else's life."

"Kamski..." You growled. "Let him go."

"Now, now... why would I let him leave? When our little party is only just starting?"

You decided to ignore Kamski. You pressed your hands on the glass, staring at Hank.

"Hank, how did you get here?! Did he do something to you?!"

"No..." Hank slurred. "I-I was just... just at Jimmy's... wanted a beer after... well after I heard that androids were being taken away... I thought you and Con were... Oh god..." He paused for a moment, before continuing in a shaky voice. "They drugged my beer... and then... then I was in this place..."

"What about Sumo, is he okay?"

"Sumo?" Hank seemed to come out of his daze a bit. "Yeah... Sumo is... Sumo is okay... probably sleeping right about now..." He chuckled sadly at that then began to cough.

"Kamski..." You glared daggers at him. Then you lunged for him, gripped his collar. You were surprised that he was lighter than you first assumed. You raised him slightly off the floor, and snarled in his face. The RK900 immediately grabbed your hand and twisted it behind you. You cried out in pain.

"[F/N]?! What are they doing?!" Hank gasped, trying to get up. Kamski made a clicking sound with his tongue as his gaze moved from you to Hank.

"And here I thought you would be prepared to make a deal... what a disappointment."

You panted for breath. You managed to shake your wrist out of the android's grip before turning on Kamski. "A-A deal? What deal?"

"Well isn't that obvious my dear?" He clasped his hands in front of him. "You do what I want you to... and I will let your dear Lieutenant go without a scratch. Disobey me..." The RK900 pulled a gun out of its holster and clicked the safety off. "And he will pay with his life. It's up to you."

You stood lost in your thoughts, turning from Kamski to the RK900 and back again. Finally, you turned back to the glass to see the Lieutenant had managed to get up again, and was now kneeling on the floor, his cuffs still clasped around the chair.

"No, don't do it [F/N]!!" Hank yelled, struggling as if he could pull his hands out of the cuffs. "GET OUT!!! FIND CONNOR AND RUN, BOTH OF YOU!! DON'T WORRY OVER AN OLD MAN'S LIFE!"

You shook your head even though Hank wouldn't see it through the one sided glass.

"What do I have to do?" You asked. Kamski beamed.

"The RK900 already gave you your new schedule, didn't it?" Kamski continued to smile as you nodded sadly. "Good girl. I knew you would comply. All you needed was a little... encouragement."

Hank continued to struggle and swear in the background. You vowed to do what you had to to keep Hank alive.

"DAMMIT [F/N], DON'T DO THIS!!" Hank pleaded. "THEY'LL KILL YOU!! Y'HERE ME? THEY'LL KILL YOU!!"

"I know..." You replied quietly, but you weren't sure if he heard. You squeezed your eyes shut.

"DIDN'T CONNOR SAY HE WOULD PROTECT YOU?! WHERE IS HE? DON'T TELL ME HE WENT AND GOT HIMSELF CAUGHT TOO!!" Hank kicked the wall. "DAMMIT ALL!! DAMN YOU TO HELL KAMSKI!!! SHOOT ME ALL YOU LIKE, BUT DON'T SHOOT [F/N]!!"

Kamski smiled peacefully. "Why would I shoot my own daughter?"

Hank seemed to freeze for a moment. He looked up in confusion at the glass, looking past you, not seeing through it. "Daughter?"

"Please Hank!!" You interrupted, staring through the glass, hoping he could see you for just a moment. "You have to get out!! You have Sumo to take care of." Hank shook his head. Tears ran down your face now. "IF IT WERE COLE, YOU WOULD DO ANYTHING TO SAVE HIM, WOULDN'T YOU?!"

Hank's eyes widened. You thought you saw tears brimming in the edges of them. You squeezed your eyes shut, forcing yourself to look away from the glass. If you stared for too long, you would never be able to force yourself to leave.

"You two were my children as much as he was..." He seemed to whisper. You weren't sure if you heard his words correctly, but they still warmed your heart. You finally forced yourself to turn away from the glass. You stared directly at Kamski. "Let him go... I'll do whatever you ask of me." Kamski smiled widely. He pressed a button on the desk.

You turned back to the room to see two guards that you hadn't noticed before step from the doorway of the room and unlock the handcuffs around Hank's wrists. They hauled him to his feet.

"Where are they taking him?"

"To have his memory of this event wiped," Kamski replied nonchalantly. "We can't have him passing on these events to anyone else, can we?"

"I thought you said you wouldn't hurt him!!"

"Oh, and I won't. Once his memories have been removed, he will be returned to his home. This will all just seem like a terrible dream," Kamski smiled at your distrustful expression. "Do not worry. I might not seem like it, but I'm a man of my word. After all, I haven't lied to you before, have I?" Then Kamski turned to the RK900. The android nodded and took your arm in his.

"Kamski... please don't hurt him... just let him leave."

"Of course. If you comply, you have my word. Your dear Lieutenant will be returned home before the hour is up."

Before you could protest, the RK900 escorted you towards the door. Kamski continued to smile as the android opened the door for you and ushered you out into the hall.

"Will you comply now?" The RK900 asked peacefully. You simply nodded in response, as he took your hand and lead you towards the elevator.
