The first thing Kiara did when she opened her eyes the next morning, was look at her husband, the way in which he slept melted her heart. She stroked his cheeks with her claws and smiled when a contented purr came from his lips.
"I know you're awake Kovu," she whispered.
His eyes flew open as he looked into the eyes of his lover.
He smiled at her and got up to kiss her.

But the simple kiss turned into a full make out session. Kiara laid on her back with Kovu on top of her kissing her neck.
"Ohh Kovu," she moaned.
Kovu smiled and started to suck her neck hard but passionate.
She moaned louder and stuck her tongue out of her mouth.

Kovu grabbed it in his own mouth and they began wrestle with Kovu coming out victorious.
When they were done, they got up stretched their muscles and walked out of the cave.
"What's for breakfast?" Kiara asked yawning widely.
"Wildebeest?" he asked.
Kiara nodded and Kovu walked into the fields to find the wilderness herd.

He found them after a while and picked the perfect target; an injured straggler. He moved into attack formation and got ready to pounce, but Kiara beat him to it. She ran ahead of him and jumped on the animal's back.
She sunk her teeth into it's  neck and put all the force she could muster into it's jugular vein.

After a few seconds of tedious suffering, the wildebeest resigned to it's fate and sunk to the ground from exhaustion.
Kovu watched dumfounded as his wife jumped off of the beast and on to the ground with not a single scratch on her body.
"K Kiara you actually managed to hunt a prey all by yourself," said Kovu softly.

Kiara blushed and nuzzled her husband, rubbing herself against him proud of her achievement.
Kovu closed his eyes and enjoyed the feel of his beautiful wife.
"Shall we eat now?" she asked shyly.
He nodded vigorously and together they dragged the wildebeest to their cave to eat.
"Mmm that was delicious," moaned Kovu when the wildebeest was devoured.

Kiara licked her lips and crawled up to her husband. She rested her head on his paws and gazed into his gorgeous face.
The scar on his left eye made him look even more gorgeous.
"Thanks Zira for giving my husband that flaw that made him even hotter than he already was when I met him; the devil."
Kiara thought to herself.
"What are you thinking about baby?" asked Kovu looking down at his queen.

"I was just thinking about how lucky I am to have you as my husband. I don't know how on earth I would've survived without you my love. I'll never fail to thank my lucky stars for my life; married to you," she said this little speech with so much love Kovu couldn't hold back the tears that threatened to fall from his face.

"That's funny cause I  was just thinking the same thing about you. When I saw you kill that wildebeest, I was dumfounded.
The way in which you handled it made my heart swell with pride. I'm so lucky to have you as my wife Kiara," he said licking her tenderly. She blushed a deep scarlet red as she let Kovu's praises sink deep within her soul.

She gazed into the emerald green eyes of her husband and she noticed something that she haven't noticed before; until now.
Could it be lust?  As if reading her thoughts, Kovu smiled and kisses her eyes.
"If you keep on staring at me like that darling, you'll leave me no choice but to take you right here and now," he said huskily.
"Well what are you waiting for? Take me already. The sexual tension is overbearing," whined Kiara.

Kovu smirked wickedly and bent his head over her, prepared to kiss her. Kiara took a deep breath, laid  on her back and closed her eyes; prepared to make love to her husband.
But instead of kissing her the way she expected, Kovu licked her cheek once and laughed.
Kiara's eyes flew open and she stared into Kovu's eyes.

"What are you doing? Weren't you going to kiss me? Why'd you stop?" she asked exasperated.
Kovu smirked and got up.
"I just wanted to tease you. We won't be mating anytime soon Kiara," he said before he walked to the back of the cave to lie down. Kiara's eyes narrowed at him before she got up and smiled at him.

"Oh well alright then, whenever you're ready to go for it let me know. I'll just go to do my business behind tree," she said.
Kovu motioned for her to go ahead. She smiled and walked out of the den with a devious smirk plastered on her face.
"Oh it's on lover boy," she said darkly before walking off to put her plan into motion.
"You play with fire, expect to get burned," she said chuckling.
