Chapter 71

We'd spent nearly a week in Ibiza, every day me driving somewhere different. W'd gone snorkeling and shopping. We'd gone to several different beaches and hikes...well, we'd started, gone about a tenth of the way, then got tired and gone back. I'd been driving a lot and id been pretty good at it, at least I hadn't crashed or been pulled over by the cops.

This morning I was lounging around on the circle couch in the living room while Nathan got changed. He walked into the living room and looked at me. "come on, let's go." he said. "where?" I asked, he grinned. "we're going somewhere special." he said, I nodded. I'd learned not to ask, because he wouldn't tell me.

We went to the car and this time he was driving. We started off and it was already dark out. After being here a week our sleeping habit had changed. We'd get home usually at two in the morning after going to a fair, staying to late at a beach, or doing other stuff, then we'd go for a swim on our private beach for a few hours and finally go to sleep at about four or five am. We'd been waking up at about five in the afternoon everyday.

Nathan pulled into a packed parking lot and we got out. "where are we?" I asked. "you'll see." he said as he took my hand and we walked through the lot. He was wearing jeans and a white shirt with a leather jacket. I had on a pair of Jean shorts and a shirt that said 'make out in America'. I saw people lined up and I was looking at Nathan confused as to what was going on.

He got to the door and showed the two guards there a pass and they opened the door for us. We went in and down a hall. "where are w...." I started, then trailed off when I saw a big stage with a bunch of people in front of it. We went and stood in some seats near the front as more and more people poured in. The lights went off and everyone screamed.

"who?" I asked. "Rihanna." he said as she stepped on stage singing. I grinned and hugged him. Then I screamed, laughed, jumped, danced and sang at the top of my lungs for the whole concert. It was one of the best times of my life and when it was done I was still full of adrenalin and wanted to do something.

"let's go do something great." I said as we walked through town. "what would that be?" he asked. "fence hopping." I said, he grinned and I stopped when we got to a long street full of houses with backyards. "ready?" i asked, he nodded. "1....2...3..." I started, then ran. "go!" I screamed as I was already at the fence. "no fair!" shouted Nathan as he chased me.

I scrambled over the fence and ran across the, thankfully empty, backyard. Nathan followed and I had to climb over the next one cause it was tall. When I hit the other side I got up and ran. I saw at least six people staring at me from the window as I ran and Nathan chased me. He'd caught up now and we were running side by side.

We hopped three more empty back yards then got to the forth and there were a bunch of people having a cook out. They all looked at us as we ran. I reached over and grabbed a cheese burger off the table. "thanks!" I shouted, then shoved the burger in my mouth and hopped the fence. I ate some then threw it on the ground and jumped another one.

I ran and Nathan was beside me, then all of a sudden he was gone. I stopped dead and nearly face planted. But I came up running and slammed into the next fence. I moaned, then turned and saw nathan just surfacing from the pool he'd fallen into. I laughed and he pouted, then splashed me.

I jumped in and he pulled me over and shoved me under the water. I grabbed his foot and pulled him under with me. Then he kissed me and I stopped trying to get to the surface. I kissed him back and wound my fingers through his hair. I breathed through my nose and water surged into my nose. I sputtered to the surface and Nathan came up laughing.

I gasped for breath and he smirked. "forgot to breath again?" he asked. "no, I remembered to do that. It was the air and water I got confused with." I said, he laughed and we heard the door of the house open. "get outa my pool you stupid kids!" shouted a man, Nathan and I looked at each other. Then got out and booked it across the yard and hopped the fence.

We both landed on the ground in a laughing heap on the other side. "come on, let's go back. My clothes are chafing." he said, I laughed as we walked through town soaking wet and jumped into the car. He drove us home and once we got there, I changed into a bikini and he got in swim trunks. We went down to the beach and I dived in as I'd been wanting to do all day.

I sighed as the cold water touched my hot skin and it felt amazing. Nathan came in after me and it was pretty dark, but I could still see him a bit. He swam out to me and grinned. "Ellen, live with me." he said. "what?" I asked. "I want you to move in with me." he stated. "Nathan, you now I can't. You know I have school and a life in America." I replied.

"but I want you in my life, all the time." he said as he grabbed my hips and pulled me against him. "I don't think I can live without you." he said. "but you can't be selfish, I need to graduate high school." I said. "you can do it in the UK." he added. "Nathan, I don't want to. I love you but Im not ready to leave my friends and my life." I said. "marry me." he said. "wait what?" I asked. "I want you to marry me." he said.

"I can't Nathan, im to young." I said. "no you'e not, love doesn't have an age." he said. "I don't understand,you were fine with me going to school." I said. "what do you want me to say?" I asked. "I want you to pick me." he said. "pick you?" I asked. "yes, I want you to pick me." he restated. "pick you over what?" I asked. "just, pick me." he said. "Nathan? This isn't a competition, there's no one but you." I said confused. "I want you to pick me over your life." he finally said.

"what? Nathan you're making no sense." I said. "I want you to be mine Ellen, I dont want an ocean between us, so come live with me." he added. "no, this isn't your choice Nathan. I want to learn, I want to go to school." I said, wow, had that just really come out of my mouth? I wanted to go to school? Dam, times sure as hell had changed.

"but..." he started. "no Nathan, you don't get to choose for me. This is what I want, you can't be so selfish and inflict where I want my life to go." I growled, I hated when people tried to tell me what to do. "but I just want you with me." he whimpered, oh fuck. As soon as he said that all I wanted to do was tell him he could have me, but, I needed to graduate.

"I don't want to be away from you for months at a time." he continued. "if you won't stay with me, at least marry me." he ended. "but Nathan we agreed on later." I said. "please." he whispered. "I don't want to be so far away from you for so long without you being mine, and I mean completely mine." he said, I looked at him. "I can't Nathan." I whispered. "please." he begged, as I looked into his emerald grey eyes, I knew I'd never love anyone as much as I loved him.

Knew that I couldn't live without him in my life. "ok Nathan." I whispered, his eyes brightened as I said it and it made me so happy to see him like that. "because I do love you." he said as he kissed me, I smiled into the kissed and looked at him. "I love you to Nathan." I said.
