"LANCE!" Allura shrieked seeing the red lion hit and Lances communicator went offline.

She didn't waste a second to jump from her chair and race to dive into space but used her jet pack to get to the red lion.

"Lance?!" She ran in to the cock pit but felt her heart drop seeing his arm dangle off the chair.

"No no no no!" She felt tears prick her eyes running to the side of the seat seeing his body leaning forward and head down.

Allura pulled him back, hugging him close to her body as she pressed her finger tips to his helmet, concentrating on what she learned on oriande. Praying for his second chance.

Her body began to glow light blue as the energy moved onto Lances body as he laid against her. Until the lion started back up.

Allura gasped watching seeing hunk work single handedly to get the shield up just as the radiation belt was about to hit them, she closed her eyes holding her teammate close waiting for the impact but it never came.
Pidge got the power back on in time to save them from death.

Lance blinked his eyes open slowly but saw Allura smiling in relief at him.

"Did it work?" Lance grunted feeling his body sore.

"It worked, everything's okay," Allura let out a breath of relief.

"You saved me?" He whispered.

"Technically, you saved me, I owed you that much, i owe you a lot," Allura hugged him keeping her emotions under control as she wished she could sob in joy that she wasn't to late.

"I died..." lance breathed as she embraced him.

"I'm so so sorry lance, but your okay now right?" Allura pulled back concerned now.

"I'm just tired I think, but I'm okay... thank you," lance smiled softly.

"I should be thanking you," Allura smiled back.

"I got good reports about voltron from the commander, your friend hunk made a great impression as well," Lotor heard lance walk in the main bridge as the other Paladins went back to the castle.

"I'm glad," lance smiled but his eyes did not hold the same joy.

"You did good work today my love," Lotor turned to him with pride practically gleaming off him.

"Just the normal," lance let out a shaky breath walking over.

Lance looked at him softly and sighed leaning against Lotor tiredly. Lotor was surprised a little but wrapped an arm around his lover anyways.

"I want to tell you something but I know you'll never let me leave the ship again," lance mumbled against him as he slid his arms around Lotor and closed his eyes.

"Did something happen?" Lotor asked seeing there was something bothering the human.

"Yea," lance whispered.

"But I can't know?" Lotor quirked a brow.

"Nope, you'll get protective," lance smiled sadly as he rested his head on his heart and just listened to his boyfriends heartbeat.

"Well always but..." Lotor trailed off frowning.

"Love did you get hurt?" He asked worried as he parted himself from lance and bent down to his level.

"No it's nothing," lance smiled to comfort him. "I just want you to know how much I love you, you'll always be the one I have in my heart,"

"Lance please, your worrying me," Lotor brushed his brown hair away.
