Chloe's POV
Minutes passed that I don't even know what's happening. I obviously wanted to take out his arms around me but I don't know what's forcing me to not to.
His arms wrapped around me give the heat that my body needs in the sudden cold weather.
Ngayon ko lang nalaman na umuulan na pala. Kung hindi ko pa narinig na kumulog hindi ko pa malalaman na basa na pala ang kapaligiran.
Nauna siyang lumayo nang maramdaman na rin siguro niya na medyo hindi na kumportable ang sitwasyon.
I don't know what happened. Bigla-bigla na lang niya akong niyakap kanina.
I can still smell his scent from here. He smells like a clean bathroom. Soap and mint.
"It's raining. We need to go inside." Pagtigil niya sa katahimikan na nabuo sa pagitan naming dalawa.
I looked around and the rain's really pouring down not heavily but enough to make loud noises at the roof. But the smell of the earthy scent the rain provides when it falls on dry soil makes me close my eyes and inhale the heaven nature provides.
"It's raining." I just answered and immediately grabbed his hands and run outside.
Sa pag-unti-unting pagbasa ng buhok ko, dali-dali kong tinanggal ang sapatos ko. Hindi makapaniwala at gulat-gulat pa rin si Ranz sa ginawa ko. Dali-dali siyang bumalik sa gazebo para sumilong.
"Come here! This is fun!" Pag-aaya ko sa kanya pagkatapos kong tanggalin ang sapatos.
"No, you come here! It's raining!" Pilit na pagsuway niya sa akin. Nakikita ko na gusto niya akong sunduin dito pero mababasa siya.
"Sandali lang! Halika na kasi!" I lifted both of my arms to feel the rain. The water's cold but it doesn't shiver my body. I spin around, laughing out of pure joy. "Come on! This is your girlfriend's order!" I shouted at him.
After a minute of probably arguing with himself, he jumps on and accompanies me to where the rain is pouring down, barefoot on the soft grass.
"This is amazing!" I say, unable to keep the laughter out of my voice.
"Sure," Ranz replies, his lips curled in a smile as he looks at me.
He grabs my hand and starts running, faster and faster over the grass, with the water splashing everywhere, both up from the grass and falling from the sky, making us absolutely soaked in a few minutes.
I gasped some air when we reach the side where Mint and other guards are also waiting. I can't stop smiling when I saw his face soaking in water. He looked so different from earlier.
He looked so different when his hair wet. The water slowly dripping down from the tip of his hair, to his cheek... to his chin... neck... chest... drooped down to his - one, two, three, four, five, six - like a maze finding the way out of his body- Wait, what?!
