Based on real life. Someone was trying to spoil BH6 for Sparkspeed, I cracked a joke on "genetically modified pile of pillows with a stress ball as a head", Sparkspeed corrected me, and I commented that a doctor superhero was the lamest thing I've ever heard of. The only difference is that the person who was spoiling wasn't with us at the time. And, obviously, it wasn't Ashfur. o3o
