Dealing with my power was hard, especially for my dad. My mom had died when I was only 2 years old, so my dad raised me.
Even at such a young age I could tell it was hard for him to raise me by himself.
But it only got worse when my powers came.
At first I couldn't control it, so mostly everything in our small house had been frozen over.
Including him (oops)
But also my attitude wasn't really helpful either.
I my tone and attitude seemed to be affected by those icicles too...
Everything I said seemed to come off as cold 98% of the time.
Even my stare got colder and intimidating.
So that next year I became homeschooled and got a private tutor, while my dad worked.
The older I got, the more curious I became in my powers.
So I started going to the library, and read through everybook there was.
And boy did I learn alot.
I learned about all the other blessing, the markings, the schools.
And OH MY GOD! THOSE SCHOOL'S!
There was this one school called 'Shining Diamond Academy' and it's where the 3 generation lines will become the next protectors and leaders of the school.
There are Angels, Demons, Vampires, and Werewolves.
And they all get along perfectly!!
But years went by as I grew older my powers grew stronger.
Too strong for my dad.
So one day he came home from work with a golden paper in his hand.
"Son." He said.
"Your going to Shining Diamond Academy."
