Vera's POV
I was pacing in the New Great Hall. Why is it called the New Great Hall? I mean what's the point of that?
My mind had started to wander before I remembered why I was pacing.
Ugh!!!!! Where is she?!!!!!
"Vera? Are you in here?"
I quickly shifted and jumped into the rafters as Dawn walked in. I kept my breathing steady and quiet. While she searched through the new great hall.
I thought I was in the clear until she looked up.
Son of a half-troll!!!! I knew my mother would be appalled by my language but the moment called for it.
"Vera? Your father wants you! If you're in here please come here!" I stayed hidden.
As she pushed through the door and I waited until I heard her wingbeats fade before I let out a sigh of relief.

One... Two... Thre- a shadow landed beside me.
"So. Dream. What's going on?"
"You don't seem surprised!
"Course, not! I heard you come in with Aunt Dawn."
"Well, fine let's go."
"Where."
"Berk."
I raised my eyebrows at the statement. For some reason, I doubted we were going to Berk. "Kay, let's go."
We flew out of the New Great Hall and out of the Hidden World.
We turned East and then when we were out of sight of the Hidden World Dream changed directions.
"Hey, Dream! Wrong-way!"
"No! We're not going to Berk! We're going to find our Uncle!"
"WHAT!!!!"
"Has your mother taught you to turn invisible yet?"
"Wait! Slow down! We're going to find our Uncle? And we can turn invisible?"
"Well, duh! How else do you think I snuck into the New Great Hall without Auntie Dawn noticing?"
I just stared at her.
"Okay, so do you know how to split your spines, yet?"
"Ya! I learned that when I was two months old!"
"Okay. Good. So split your spines like me."
"Done."
"Then start to build up a plasmablast. But don't release it!"
I started building it up and felt my scales start to heat up.
"Good. Good. Keep building."
I realized a light was starting to radiate off of me and then a flash and I didn't feel the blast anymore.
"YES!!!! You did it!"
"I did? I did! I'm invisible!" I shouted and then I noticed that it was starting to wear off. "What happened?" Then I felt my wings give out a little and Dream immediately flew under me.
