Vera's POV

"Ha! You did it, Gale!"  (Gale is Nightengale)

"Whoa! This is so weird!"

"I know! And it gets weirder! Humans walk on their hind legs and speak a different language called Norse and they wear CLOTHES!"

"Then what good is this?"

"Well, you can make things and fit into smaller spaces and humans won't kill you if you stay human and look!"

I'd been testing the range of my abilities for the past five months. Honestly, they were pretty awesome. I could have dragon features while being human. Like my wings and tail, ear flaps and spines and scales. If I wanted. Like now when I was showing off to my big sis. Right now I had wings and scales.

"Seriously!"

"I know! And we go even faster while we're human with wings 'cause our wings are the same size but we're way lighter! Also, I got mom to make special clothes for you. 'Cause you don't want to rip them when you have your wings."

"Makes sense."

Gale changed into her new clothes and I started teaching her the basics of being a human.

"What are you guys up to?" I heard someone ask from behind.

I immediately turned and saw Uncle Hiccup standing there, "Uncle Hiccup!" We both shouted and tackled him in dragon form.

"It's good to see you guys, too."

"Grandmama misses you so much," I said.

"So does Uncle Rowan. And EVERYONE!!! They got so mad at Mom and Uncle T."

"Come on! Let's go say hi!" Nightengale and I started nudging him.

"Okay! Okay! I'm coming!"

"Let's go, let's go, let's go!" Gale said.

We flew towards the New Great Hall. Uncle Hiccup smiled as we talked about everything that had happened while he was away.

Dawn's POV

"You should really look up every so often!" I heard a shout and got tackled from behind. When he got off I saw the brother I'd missed for five years.

"Hiccup? Gods! You're really alive! I can't believe it! You have no idea how much I missed you. And you remembered that?"

"Well, only just. But they're coming back."

"Gods! Everyone is going to be so happy! Delta and Toothless are going to be so ecstatic."

"I know. I just don't think I'm ready to forgive them, yet."

"I can't blame you. Five years and that's the welcome back you get from your siblings?"

Then I saw a black blur come from behind. Uncle Hiccup rolled to the side and jumped on Moon.

"Woah! Did not know you could do that!" I said.

"Hey, sis."

"Hiccup! As happy as, I am to see you can you get off? You got so heavy!"

"It's good to see you, too."

"You're not so little, either! Muttonhead! I missed you."

"Haha. Hilarious." Hiccup said in his sarcastic voice.

"Glad you think so," Moon replied. "But seriously. Come here!" She spread her wings and they hugged. I joined them.

It took me a couple of minutes to realize that Vera had left. Oh well.

After a thorough welcome home, I heard wingbeats. Hiccup's eyes widened and then his ears flattened.

"Oh, gods. Save me." He whined. Moon and I turned and saw all of our relatives.

They all landed and tried to say hi as he curled up in a tight ball.

"Everyone back away," Moon said. "I said! Give him some space!" Moon rarely loses her temper, but when she does, it's best to stay out of her way.

Everyone here knew that so they backed away from Hiccup.

All 24 of his family members were there except for Spitelout, Toothless, and Astrid. Although, the gang and their dragons were there and Mist and Eclipse. So all and all there are 30 of us here (including me and Moon).

Hiccup was still curled tight around himself.

"Is it really him?" Valka asked. I nodded.

"Hiccup, dear," she said as she walked up to him. "I thought you'd drowned. We all did. It's good to see you here."

He looked up at her words, "Mom?" She sat down beside him and he put his head in her lap.

"Hiccup-" Rowan said, his voice breaking.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I left you, again."

"No, don't apologize. I understand. You've had so much happen. It's okay." Rowan smiled at Hiccup as he sat down beside their mom.

Then Hiccup's head shot up.

"Oh, gods! Amber! I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to leave you. I said I'd take care of you and look where I ended up."

I looked at what had caught his attention and saw a beautiful dragon. Hiccup and Amber touched heads and whispered to each other. Hiccup wrapped his wings around her and walked back to us.

He started going through the group gathered and being welcomed back. Until he got to Delta.

"Delta," he said stiffly.

"Hiccup, I..." But he had already moved on. She looked after him before slumping in defeat.

I walked towards her. "I'm the worst sister ever." She told me.

"No, you aren't."

"I am. I am such a muttonhead. He's my brother and I push him away. All for the stupid reason of him not being able to be here for me when he was just trying to get home." She was crying now. I had my wings wrapped around her and saw that Vera, Night, Nightengale and Blackmoon were staring at us like she had grown a second head.

"Look, Delta. It will be okay. Just give him time and try to show him how sorry you are."

"You sure? Will it work? Will we ever be friends again? Will we ever be brother and sister again?"

"I don't know, Delta. But I helped you come here for the first time and I'll help you mend that bond with our brother."

"Thank you, Dawn."

We stood there for a minute before her children came and joined our hug.

"I think that Uncle Hiccup's more forgiving than you think, mom," Blackmoon said.

"You think?"

"Ya. Did you see the way he looked when he was saying those things to Uncle Rowan and Amber?" Night chimed in. "Maybe that's what you gotta do."

"Do what?"

"Ask for him to forgive you," Blackmoon answered.
