Hiccup's POV

"Hiccup! Guess what!"

I yawned sleepily, "What?"

"Gothi is going to check your wing, today!"

My excitement dropped, "Oh. Yay."

"You don't seem too excited."

I arched an eyebrow, "And this is something to get excited about, because?"

"Norse." She said warningly.

I rolled my eyes, "And something be excited, why?"

"Because... You'll know how much longer you have to go without flying!"

"Yay," I muttered sarcastically. "Let's get this over with."

Astrid put Osmund in a makeshift sling while Freya hovered above her. Lucky.

As we walked over to Gothi's Astrid started talking about something, but I had zoned out.

Suddenly, there was a hand in my face that snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Hiccup! Hiccup! Hicc-"

"What?"

"Were you even listening to me?"

"Uhhhhh-"

"I was asking when you wanted to get married."

My eyes widened. Get married! What!

We had stopped walking and hurt shone in her eyes, "You do still want to get married, right?"

"Ya. Of course, I do! I just surprised."

"Do you want to talk about it later?"

"Ya, let's do that."

We continued our walk in silence.

She hasn't said anything, yet. I can't believe it.

Gothi was waiting for us when we arrived.

2 hours later

We walked out of Gothi's. I guess it was a good idea. I mean it would've been a terrible idea if I couldn't read her writing, picture, things. Two weeks. I can handle two weeks? Maybe? Ugh! Who am I kidding? Two weeks is forever!

Astrid's POV

Hiccup is pretty agitated. Was it about what I said earlier? Was it not being able to fly for two more weeks? Or something else? Am I forgetting something? No. That can't be it. Ugh! I don't know!

We walked back to our cave in silence. I wanted to talk about getting married. I mean the look on his face had been pretty hurtful.

Yet... I didn't want to push it.

He's usually more focused than he has been today. I mean he zoned out of our conversation... He was daydreaming during his appointment... And the walk back had been him staring off into the distance.

"I'm going to go visit, Rowan."

"Norse." Hiccup stiffened.

"No." That took me aback. "I am done with this! You are always telling me to speak Norse! I am sick of it! I am going to go spend some quality time with my brothers! And I will speak Dragonease if I want to!"

"Hiccup-"

"Save it." He said before muttering something I didn't hear.

He left before I could say anything else.
