"I know you guys are worried but in cases with premature babies, their immune system is oftentimes weaker than the average child. Because she also has allergies, it just makes things worse for her," Dr. Rye explained as 2-year-old Assyria laid on King with teary eyes.

She's had an ear infection for three weeks, on top of a bad cough and stuffy nose.

"She only came two weeks early," Renae reminded.

"Correct, but you were already stressing, experiencing pre miscarriage symptoms, battling your illnesses and having fits... that takes a toll on a baby within the womb too Renae," she replied and Renae stared at Assyria with a face full of regret.

She blamed herself and King could see it.

"Aye, don't even do it," he said when she wiped at her face.

"She's screwed up because of me... first Ava, then K.J, now her and I'm STILL fucking crazy!"

Dr. Rye went to say something but Renae left out and Assyria sat up and stared at the closed door.

"She's gone," she mumbled softly looking around.

"Mommy's still here baybeh girl," he assured and Dr. Rye gave him a sympathetic look.

"Go after her, I'll call you guys later,"

"What about her medication?" He asked.

"I sent the prescription up front, just pick it up,"

Nodding, King got up and grabbed Renae's things and put Assyria's jacket on her before leaving out.

Meeting Renae outside, he buckled Assyria in before getting himself situated.

          "I shouldn't have left... it's just—"

"A lot," he finished and she nodded.

"What if all of our kids are screwed up because of me? Eventually, they're gonna hate me for it," she said then sighed closing her eyes.

"I don't hate you, mommy," Assyria's soft voice came into play and King smiled, he forgot he didn't put her headphones on.

"I know... I shouldn't have said that... I'm sorry," Renae apologized looking back at her and wiggled her nose.

"I love you a wholeeee lot," Assyria smiled and Renae smiled as well.

"And I love you just as much,"...

"What is dis?" Assyria wrinkled her forehead as she stood at the end of the sofa staring at the tv extremely confused by all that was going on.

"It's called CSI, sit down," Ava moved over and opened her blanket.

          "Another crime thingy?"

Laughing, Ava nodded, she hated when Ava watched crime shows.

"I'll just... I'll bother K.J," she said and Ava laughed.

        "He's in tha' library,"

Pursing her lips, Assyria sighed sitting down slowly and Ava busted out laughing.
