It's been almost a month and the twins were counting down the days until their birthday. Reign wanted to go to New York to watch the ball drop in Times Square but Kaari wanted to have a dinner party in Virginia which made things hard on Renae and King to decide. They gave them two weeks to figure things out and if they couldn't agree on something, Renae would decide.

Reign and Yae'Shawn were still 'minding' their business but only every other week or whenever she called him which sometimes was three times a week. King kept his word and fell back but he still kept a close eye on Yae'Shawn and Nazim once he caught him and Kaari making out at the bus stop.

She swore up and down she didn't like him but the way their lips were locking, King thought he would have had to grab the hose. He damn near broke Nazim's neck and almost laid hands on his own daughter. They were growing up too fast and he hated it.

He respected them because at least they weren't trying to hide it, he just hated that Reign felt the need to hide things from him.

"Who's gunna be here?" Reign asked Kaari after checking the time on her phone. Nadia was having brunch at her house with some of her classmates.

"Di gang, some of mine and Nadia's frens, her stepsister and dah it,"

"Parents?" King asked glancing back at them since Renae was driving today.

         "Yez," Kaari answered.

"Ok," he nodded eyeing her and she laughed.

"Leave her alone," Renae laughed hitting his leg.

Turning around, he held his fist up and Reign and Kaari busted out laughing.

They pulled into Nadia's driveway fifteen minutes later and King and Renae got out to talk with Nadia's mom before they left.

"Desiree!" Yae'Shawn called parking on the side. She never understood why he had three different nicknames for her but she didn't mind it, especially since she loved her middle name.

Smirking, Kaari nudged her forward before opening the front door. "Di superstar has arrived!"

Laughing, Reign shook her head walking towards Yae'Shawn's car.

Getting out, he leaned against the driver's door and she stood a few feet away from him then smiled when he pulled her into him.

"Hi," she giggled looking up at him.

Winking at her, he rubbed his nose against hers and wrapped his arms around her and leaned her back as he nibbled on her neck making her laugh uncontrollably.

He was infatuated with her laugh and loved the cute squeal she did whenever she thought he was going to bite her.

"I missed you," He spoke against her neck before pulling back and tugged on the bottom of her hair.
