9 years after the wedding, things weren't so bad for the Stone family, but it also wasn't peaches and rainbows either. A lot has changed over the years, some that could've been controlled and other's not so much. Life has always been pretty easy for...
It was two weeks later, the kids touched back down in Atlanta 6 days ago as if nothing ever happened. They had a new place, a lot more closer to the city, that way whoever was plotting on them couldn't move as freely. Layton and Rue flew down a few days ago and had their own apartment right across from theirs and did their best as acting as neighborhood patrol officers and campus security. King and Renae checked in whenever they could but they had the kids to focus on as well.
King was still upset that Renae went against his wishes, so they were barely speaking but that was fine with Renae, in her heart, she knew she was doing the right thing and just needed him to trust her.
Dajon was back to taking a break from basketball and back to law, Dante was attending work with him on days he wasn't going to work with Ary.
Kwan was building a nightclub down in Norfolk, so a lot of his time was there or with Yanna and Zaire but they did make time for Renae and King and the men still had their lunch meetings.
Bryson popped up on Renae and that didn't end well once again, he was trying to get her back but she no longer had space for him.
"Did you find anyone to bind with yet?" Parker asked Kaari as they spoke on FaceTime.

"Gyal... must yuh always tink bout dah?" Kaari frowned, she was starting to understand why Reign didn't like her.
"I'm just trying to make sure my bitch getting some pipe and not just going to school,"
"Am not," Kaari simply replied as she glanced around before crossing the street.
She just finished her last class and was making her way to the house. She offered to cook dinner for everyone since they would be getting in after 6.
"Me either... these dudes different up here, none of em trying to get on down with me," she complained and Kaari rolled her eyes.
She listened to her do that all the way home barely listening, she was starting to see that she needed to make friends out there but wasn't sure if she was open to that just yet. The good thing, only a few people knew who the twins were and who their parents were and the rest just saw them as regular girls from a different state.
Walking through the gate, Kaari paused briefly and looked around as she placed her hand inside her purse ready to remove her gun until she noticed Rue casually walking by smirking.
That was another thing; he and Layton often tested the group's awareness just to see if they were capable of protecting themselves if they were in range at the time, Daewon has been the only one to fail but he redeemed himself yesterday.
Discreetly, Kaari waved at Rue before heading inside.
"I'm home... I gotta call yuh bak," Kaari huffed, completely over the conversation.
