Hearing knocking coming from downstairs, Reign went to get up until she remembered Marvin was there. Remaining in the bathroom, she sat there and squeezed her eyes shut when she heard the door being kicked in.
She knew Ms. Hunter wouldn't allow her to come over anymore after this but she would have to be ok with it. She knew what she saw, that man was watching her and she bet her life on it.
Hearing her name being called, she stood up slowly and listened to hear Marvin screaming or some form of struggle but didn't hear anything.
She was confused, should she open the door and face him or wait until she heard him begging for his life?
He didn't touch her but what if she would have never opened the door catching him? There was no telling what would have happened.
He was so quiet out there and as the thought of him watching her crept into her mind she instantly felt dirty.
"REIGN!"
Opening the bathroom door, she peeked into the bedroom before walking inside but quickly jumped back when King kicked the bedroom door open looking like the devil on a Sunday during praise and worship.
Looking around the room, he stared at her and she ran right into his arms as if she was a little girl again.
"Nobody's here," she heard Kwan say and that made her burst into tears.
"I'm not lying!" She cried looking up at King and he had a flashback of the day Renae was assaulted in his absence, which only angered him.
"I know, where's your stuff?" He asked looking around the room.
"B—but... he was here... I— I swear!" She hiccuped holding onto his shirt for dear life.
"I believe you Ray, you know I do," he told her as he motioned for Kwan to follow him. They would just have to get her things later.
The second they stepped out into the hall her legs went numb. She couldn't believe this, the moment she actually saw what Yae'Shawn has been telling her and decided to do something his ass ran. She felt as if made her out to be a liar or crazy person, but she knew what she saw, she knew what she felt, and she knew for a fact he was watching her.
If she would've never opened the door thinking it was Yae'Shawn, there was no telling what would've occurred but she knew he was watching her.
He wasn't innocent and now he had her seeming crazy; he played the game right. . .
Hours after the incident and Reign kept herself cooped up inside her parents room staring blankly at the tv. The guys doubled back to the house after taking Reign home but she couldn't find Marvin. They knew she was telling the truth and also knew he was living there because he left his watch and drawls that Kwan found something that shall not be named inside.
The entire situation pissed them off and although King wanted to be mad at her for not telling him about the first two incidents, he couldn't. She always tried to see the good in people even if they were evil, but she wasn't going back, not unless Marvin showed up in a body bag.
"Open," She spoke softly still staring at the tv as someone knocked.
"It's me," King said standing in the doorway and she lifted the covers.
Walking inside, he closed the door and climbed in bed with her. Turning towards him, she laid her head on his chest as the tears fell.
He could feel her shaking and the thought of some man violating her infuriated him, murder was definitely on his mind; heavily.
