It's been three long months since everything has occurred. Out of respect for King and Renae, Yae'Shawn only visited Reign at the house and if she did go over his place, he would walk her home by seven. His feelings for her were becoming stronger and he was trying his best to keep things how they were. He even went to King about advice which surprised him when King actually helped. Reign dropped out of the step team a month ago after Kaari kept changing the routines behind her back.

The 'Goonies' was still a thing but so was the tension. Nazim and Adonis weren't speaking because apparently Kaari was leading both of them on and whenever she was mad at Nazim, she was creeping around with Adonis and feeding him lies. Renae took her to the clinic soon as they got back to Virginia and got her put on birth control and then had her tested for sexually transmitted diseases when she found out she was letting Nazim go in her raw. She had three bodies but only told them about Nazim.

As a precaution, Renae went ahead and got Reign on birth control as well even though she kept asking her not to, Renae just wanted to be safe.

Kwan was mad as hell when he found out about Kaari having sex and the moment they made it back to Virginia, he took a trip to Nazim's house and let's just say, his father thought he was talking to the devil himself.

King was trying his hardest to be the best father he could be but he's been feeling like a failure since New Years' night and hasn't been his usual self ever since. He pretended well but deep down his spirit was crushed. He was more hurt at the fact that Kaari was having sex at sixteen, months after they moved there. It made him feel some kinda way that she was quick to jump in the deep end without a life jacket.

He knew that sex was apart of life but he hated the fact that she was so eager to just jump right in it and without saying anything to anyone. Anything could have happened and she didn't care about any of it. He would still be upset if she waited until she was eighteen but it was the fact that to him she was too young to even think let alone assume she was ready. Even at eighteen, he wouldn't feel as if she was ready, not even Reign but it was Kaari that hurt him the most.

She grew up acting as his equal, his best friend but she was lying to him and keeping things from him while he constantly stayed on Reign's head about things. She knew it and used it to her advantage because while they were being concerned about Reign, she was setting plays and throwing stones while hiding her hands for her own advantage.

It was 6:35 Saturday morning and Shawn was currently in the gymnasium doing drills to clear his mind. His mom was coming back but gave him a heads up that she was bringing some man she met in Columbia back with her, so he pissed about that. She was supposed to be "working" but been in Columbia getting work done and creeping around with some man she met.

He was just ready to graduate so he could leave and get his life started.

Making the fifth free throw, he glanced behind him upon hearing the gym door opening and Reign walked in wearing her pajamas. He forgot they were supposed to hang out today.

"Hi,"

"Morning baby girl," he greeted before shooting the ball again.

"Are yuh ok?" She asked sitting on bleachers and pulled her journal out of her bookbag.

"I'm cool, what's up with you?"

"Shawn," she called giving him a look and he sighed dribbling the ball a few times before looking down.
