A few moments passed after Antonio and Upton had left. Everyone else was at their desks working. But Erin noticed Jay getting coffee in the break room so she decided to rip the bandaid off and take whatever she had coming for her.
"Hey" Erin slightly said as she walked in towards Jay
"Hey" Jay replied
"It's umm good to see you Jay" Erin said
"Is it?" Jay snarled back while he turned away from her and slammed the coffee pot down.
"Jay look I'm sorry, what more can I say? I know I left things badly but we were broken up, I was in a jam and I done what I had to do" Erin
"Okay Erin if that's what you had to do" shaking his head as he walked out
Erin was at a stand still, she knew it wasn't going to be easy getting them back to how it was but she definitely thought she may have gotten a different reaction out of him. She poured herself a coffee and walked towards her desk. Voight had made sure she was going to get her old desk back even if Jay didn't like the fact that he be sitting across from his old partner.
"Halstead" Voight shouted out into the bullpen while he stood in his office doorway
Halstead looked up and raised his eyebrows "yes sarge?"
"My office now" Voight demanded
Jay thought to himself 'oh great back to the angry dad lecturing me about Erin well he must know that we aren't on talking terms so what does he possibly have to say' Jay walked in and sat on the lounge waiting for Voight to speak.
"I know Erins back, I know there's a lot of history there and I know you were really messed up about it when she left, but I really don't want this to affect your state of mind her being back here your a great detective and I don't want you going astray" Voight said
Jay sighed, bent forward and rested his head inside his hands rubbed his face and then looked back up at him "no worries sarge but you could of at least let me know she was coming back so I could of prepared myself. But I won't let you down"
"That's all" Voight bluntly said as he walked jay to the door and shut it
