After the weekend had passed, Jay and Erin were exhausted, it was Sunday night they got takeout and when they finally had eaten, bathed and gotten the kids to sleep they both flopped onto the bed.

"Who knew going camping with a bunch of guys was so exhausted, I mean I'm not as young as I use to be" Jay joked.

"Jay your only 36" Erin chuckled.

"Yeah I know but I feel like I have the bones of an 80 year old" They both laughed, she knew exactly what he meant. Between raising two wild children and the job they both had chosen it definitely took a toll.

"So how was your weekend anyway?" Jay asked Erin, rolling over and placing his hand on her stomach.

"Really good, Rai is the cutest and well behaved baby. And Cammy and Maisie love each other, it's good that they are a similar age. Also Hailey is getting clucky, this guy she's seeing, do you think it will stick?"

Jay shrugged "I don't know, but I hope so. I mean she is a great girl, she deserves the best."

"Yeah she does." Erin smiled and Jay bent down to kiss her "Okay, let's go to sleep I can barely keep my eyes open anymore." Erin said patting Jays chest, she knew what he wanted but she knew neither of them had the energy.

......................

When Jay hears the alarm go off he wanted to throw it out the window, Monday's were one thing but having a jammed packed weekend without rest and waking up on a Monday is another.

Jay went to roll over to hug Erin but she was already up, he looked around the room but she wasn't in there or the bathroom. Just as he was about to get up, Cammy and Noah came running in, jumping on him.

"Well good morning you too, bit early to be up isn't it?" Jay said rubbing his eyes and then noticing Erin standing in the doorway.

They spent about 15 minutes in Jay and Erins bed before Jay got up for a shower. As much as he wanted to stay in bed with his family he knew he had work to do, crime in Chicago wasn't going to stop.

"Okay let's go. Noah you got your backpack" Erin yelled.

"Yes mum" Noah nodded as he swung it over his shoulders.

"Cam you ready sweetheart" Erin said waiting for a reply but she didn't get one, she walked around from the kitchen and saw Cammy pulling her pigtails out. This meant she was about to throw it.

"Baby girl, what you doing, come on we have to go." Erin said kneeling down to her level.

"No." Camille said throwing the ribbons out of her hair.

"Cam sweetheart, we have to go but I promise when we get home later today we can watch frozen?" Erin said trying to keep her calm but it didn't work.

Jay walked out putting his badge over his head and holstering his gun. He heard Camille throwing a tantrum and Erin trying to calm her down then he saw Noah sitting on the lounge swinging his legs.
