Today was Noah's first birthday and Erin was currently 18 weeks pregnant. Today they planned to tell everyone, Erin had gotten Noah a shirt that said 'Big brother duties starting January 2021"
"Well that's abit cute" Jay said as she slipped the shirt over Noah's head.
She nodded her head and got up and started fussing over everything, they were having the party at a park so she had to make sure everything was organised before they left.
"Babe, it's going to be fine. You don't have to stress" Jay said taking her hand "It's going to be perfect"
"Yeah yeah" she sighed and took a deep breath "It's just this isn't me, I don't throw one year olds birthday parties. So I want it to be right"
"I know, and your nervous about telling everyone?" He questioned.
"Um yeah you could say that"
He bought her in for a hug and kissed her forehead, "There's nothing to be nervous about. Now come on we gotta go, if you want to tell Hank before everyone then we better get going now."
Jay grabbed all the boxes and bags that had the decorations, food and presents and loaded them into the car, as well as the pram. Thankfully a couple weeks back Jay bought himself a GMC Sierra so now they had that and Erins SUV but the Sierra was definitely bigger and better when it came to something like this.
Once they got to the park they pulled up the same time as Voight and he helped them unload and set up, it was about 15 minutes before everyone was suppose to arrive so they thought now would be a good time to tell him. They all stood next to a set of table and chairs and watched Noah playing on the ground.
Jay passed Voight a beer before they both turned to him "So Hank, we have something we want to tell you"
Hank gave them wondering eyes as Erin walked over and picked up Noah.
"Hey buddy, why don't we share the news with grandpa" she slowly unzipped his jumper which revealed the shirt Erin had put on earlier.
Hanks eyes lit up "Seriously?!"
They both nodded "That's great you too" Voight said and he grabbed Noah from Erin "Another one of you, well this has just made my day"
Half hour went by everyone arrived, they all went and said hi to Noah and then started mingling between each other. A little later they decided to do the presents, Jay and Erin couldn't believe how spoilt their kid truly was. Everyone loved him, he had a much bigger family that he would one day be so thankful for. It was time for the cake.
The three of them stood in front of everyone, Jay was holding Noah on his hip.
"Okay so before our little guest of honour gets to destroy that cake" he pointed while everyone laughed "We have a little announcement we want to share first" He said while at Erin unzipped Noah's shirt. Everyone gasped and cheered.
"We are having another baby" Erin said with a big smile with her hands in the air.
Everyone congratulated them and gave them hugs.
"Okay, okay. Better not take anymore time away from that special little guy" Will said as he stood with the rest of the party guests and they all chuckled.
Erin placed Noah in the high chair that they bought with them, and while they all sung happy birthday they done their best to hold Noah's hands back. Once everyone was finished they blew out the candle together while everyone cheered and snapped photos while Noah quickly shoved his hands in it making a mess.
